My Thoughts: This is one that I recorded and burned to DVD myself as it hasn't been released yet. But I am hoping to see a DVD release of it before too long so I can junk this recording. I enjoyed this first sequel just as much as I did the original movie. It has enough sub-plots to keep the story moving and interesting... while limiting it just enough so that there isn't too much going on. I really enjoyed the main storyline of the guy trying to swindle Grey House from Cassie. Once again Catherine Bell was great as Cassie. The more I see her in the bigger fan I become. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Celebrity of the Week Marathon: Catherine Bell on March 20th, 2012) Gorgo, a review by addicted2dvdTitle: Gorgo Year: 1961 Director: Eugene Lourie Rating: NR Length: 76 Min. Video: Widescreen 1.66:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital Mono Subtitles: Stars: Bill Travers William Sylvester Vincent Winter Christopher Rhodes Joseph O'Conor Plot:Extras: Scene Access Trailers Featurettes Gallery Production Notes My Thoughts: This is one of the movies that our friend Roger sent me. I thought I would watch (at least) one of the ones he sent me this weekend as well. This is really not the type of movie I normally watch... but I was able to enjoy it. Both the story and the effects is like a cross between Godzilla and King Kong. One thing I found rather odd is there was no main female character in this movie. More or less you seen some women running around in the streets in crowds and such... but other then that... pretty much all male actors. The quality of the print while more then watchable... could have been better. But considering this movie is almost 50 years old... I really can't complain too much about that. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Weekend Movie Marathon: Unwatched DVDs on December 18th, 2009) Angel Marathon, a review by addicted2dvdAngel: Season 3 4. Carpe Noctem Original Air Date: 10/15/2001 While investigating a string of deaths involving bodybuilders whose bones literally dissolved, Angel becomes trapped in the body of a 76-year-old man. Guest Stars: Stephanie Romanov Daniel Dae Kim Rance Howard My Thoughts: This is a fun episode. Has a few chuckles in it. Definitely not a serious episode... and does little to advance the season long story arc. More of a filler episode.... but a good one. My Rating: (From Angel Marathon on March 11th, 2010) |
