My Thoughts:
For a Nickelodeon movie it is rather fun. For the most part the time-stopping is done well, although they break there own "rules" only to have a "see what funny things we can do when using hyper time". Especially the scene in the night club where there are helping their friend by moving him around. To do these dance sequences they would have to hold him in one position for minutes when considering their speed relatively to the rest. The whole routine should have taken them hours or even days to do. So not so much fun as they seemed to have doing it. Another scene which breaks their rules is the car chase scene where both parties are in hyper-time. Because of an accident, the good guys fall out of hyper-time. But why were also the bad guys suddenly back in normal time?
Other than that I had fun watching it.

Bad Boys , a review by Dragonfire

Bad Boys

My Thoughts

This is a mindless action movie, but it is done well and is entertaining.  The plot is interesting and has a lot going on without it being that complicated.  I do think the plot could have been a little stronger.  I also think that things with Julie thinking that Marcus is Mike could have been handled a bit better instead of having the two guys pretend to be each other for so long.  There really isn't any mystery to the plot since it is known basically right away who the bad guy is.

There is a lot of action throughout the movie with explosions and shootings and some fights.  The action is a bit over the top, though it is tame compared to what Michael Bay does now.  The action scenes are done well and do keep things moving.  There is a lot of violence, some of it more graphic, so anyone with issues about violence will probably want to avoid this one.  There is a lot of swearing, something else that might bother some people.  Humor does turn up, usually from some things that are said by Mike or Marcus.  Julie makes a lot of cracks that I think are supposed to be funny that just seem a bit....snarky.

This movie has some issues, but it works as an entertaining action movie.

Smallville Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Season 5: Disc 1:

EPISODE 1: ARRIVAL
Clark saves Chloe in the FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, although his actions may have dire consequences. Also, two beings - and eventually a third - emerge from the spaceship that crash-landed during the meteor shower.

My Thoughts:
This was a good conclusion to the last season's cliffhangers. Clark and Chloe talk.... so now she finally knows everything... and he knows that she knows. I have actually liked Chloe knowing... even more then Pete knowing. I do think that Clark facing the 2 Kryptonians that came to conquer was settled a little too quickly... but considering how much went on in this episode it is understandable. But I personally think this one would have been better as a 2 parter.

EPISODE 2. MORTAL
Normal is cool. His powers are gone, but Clark now has what he always wanted: Lana's love. However, when she and the Kents are held hostage by fugitives, Clark must rely solely on his wits to rescue them.

My Thoughts:
A good episode... This one I believe was to show that with or without his powers Clark is a hero.

EPISODE 3: HIDDEN
No more meteor problems in SMALLVILLE. In fact, no more Smallville...if a missile launched by a renegade computer wiz hits its mark. And perhaps no Clark to the rescue. He is shot and declared dead.

My Thoughts:
This one was a good episode as well. Of course in this one Clark gets his powers back... Jor-El possesses Lionel Luthor's body to save Clark... and it is found out that someone Clark loves will die soon.

EPISODE 4: AQUA
Lois is in deep. AC - aka AQUAMAN - saves her from drowning, and Lois can't resist being attracted to him. But AC has more than romance on his mind. He's out to thwart LUTHORCORP's secret sonar weapon.

My Thoughts:
Of course I enjoyed this one... as I said... I like the ones where the other heroes come to Smallville. I have always liked the character of Aquaman. This episode was supposed to get it's own spin-off show... but it got lost in the shuffle when the WB and UPN combined to become The CW. I did get the opportunity to see the pilot episode they made for it... and it really looked good... such a shame  that it never came to be.
