Leprechaun, a review by addicted2dvdTitle: Leprechaun Movie Count: 88 TV Ep Count: 40 Other Count: 2 Time Started: 12pm Plot: A horrific Leprechaun (Warwick Davis) goes on a rampage after his precious bag of gold coins is stolen. He uses all his magical destructive powers to trick, terrorize and kill everyone who is unlucky enough to hinder his relentless search. In a frantic attempt to survive the wrath of the Leprechaun, Tori (Jennifer Aniston) and her friends scramble to find the only weapon known to kill this Irish monster... a four leaf clover. However, until they discover a four leaf clover or return all the gold taken from the rainbow's end, their fairy tale nightmarehas only just begun. My Thoughts: This is another one I haven't seen in many years. It was fun seeing a young Jennifer Aniston (Friends) in this movie. Of course this more is done more for fun then horror... there is a load of comedy mixed in. But I definitely enjoy it for what it is. Not to mention Jennifer Aniston looked great in those tight shorts! My Rating Out of a Possible 5 (From My Month Long Horror/Halloween Marathon: 2008 on October 27th, 2008) Wreck It Ralph, a review by DragonfireI went to see this movie back in November and really enjoyed. I liked it just as much watching it a second time on Blu-ray. It is a fun, entertaining movie that is good for families, though younger children won't have any idea who some of the game characters are. Adults may like that part of the movie more. The movie has an interesting plot, with the characters of video games being alive and the serge protectors in the arcade being like a train station. The animation is very well done and it really looks like the graphics from the older games when Ralph's game is shown at first. Even once things change to the better animation, the characters from that game move a little differently. The movie is really fun and entertaining and it definitely deserves to be seen. It is one of the more original ones I've seen in recent years. I did post a longer review on Epinions after I first saw the movie. Wreck-It Ralph (From Marie's Random Movie Viewing on July 15th, 2013) My PILOT Marathon, a review by RichFRIENDS - SEASON 1 - PILOT First aired: 9/22/1994 This is the one where it all began... Rachel leaves Barry at the altar, meets the gang, and moves in with Monica. Monica, meanwhile, sleeps with Paul the Wine Guy, and Ross is reeling from his divorce from Carol, who has become a lesbian. Great to go back after all these years to see where it all began. The show did not stray too far from the format of this first episode, and the characters matured with all 10 series. The jokes in this pilot are ok and the acting average, but the chemistry is perfect and indicates why this became such a monster hit series. (From My PILOT Marathon on May 17th, 2008) |
