Her daily diet of gloopy health drinks aren't enough to shield her from what she perceives as a particularly severe run of bad luck, which all began on her eighth birthday when her father stormed out of the house, not only abandoning her, but flinging all her toys into a nearby swamp, including a cat talisman which she thinks must have been cursed. Haname sets out to retrieve her lost possesions, a quest which reacquaints her with her father, now a hippie working a junk shop who goes under the name 'Light Bulb', and brings her into contact with a punk named Gus.

My Thoughts:
As expected, a quirky comedy. Nothing laugh out loud funny, but these characters are amusing to watch.

The Descent, a review by addicted2dvd

Title: The Descent
Movie Count: 49
TV Ep Count: 11
Time Started: 9:45am
Plot:
On an annual extreme outdoor adventure, six women meet in a remote part of the Appalachians to explore a cave hidden deep in the woods. Far below the surface of the earth, disaster strikes when a rock fall blocks their exit and there's no way out. The women push on, praying for another exit, but there is something else lurking under the earth. The friends are now prey, forced to unleash their most primal instincts in an all-out war against an unspeakable horror - one that attacks without warning, again and again and again.

My Thoughts:
I bought this one blind after it was recommended to me when I stated I liked "The Cave". But I was warned to get the Original Unrated Cut... which I did. I am glad I took a chance on this one... as I enjoyed it very much... it was even better then "The Cave". I thought the creatures in this one was done very well. This is definitely a movie I can see myself watching again. The only drawback I had... and this has nothing to do with the movie itself... is that it wouldn't play in my DVD Player. I had to watch it on my computer. On a much smaller screen and no surround sound system... which really sucks.

My Rating
Out of a Possible 5

The Adventures of Mini-Goddess: Volume 4: The Skuld Files (1999/Japan)
IMDb | Wikipedia

(United Kingdom)
Length:100 min.
Video:Full Frame 1.33:1
Audio:English: Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo, Japanese: Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo
Subtitles:English

Plot:
SUPER SMALL = SUPER CUTE!

Whenever Keiichi leaves the house, Belldandy, Urd and Skuld shrink themselves to play with the other residents of the area - including their clueless rat sidekick, Gan. Whether it's life trapped in a jar of miso paste or the revolt of Urd's clones, the goddess adventures are dangerously funny!

SKULD: The sweet little sister of the goddess trio, Skuld's innocence counters the fact that her mechanical inventions frequently cause Gan bodily harm!

The Adventures of Mini-Goddess
Season 1.48 Korekara dounaru no? 29.03.1999
Writer: Kosuke Fujishima (Original Material By), Shouji Yonemura (Screenwriter), Chinatu Houjou (Screenwriter), Atsuhiro Tomioka (Screenwriter), Shinzo Fujita (Screenwriter)
Director: Yasuhiro Matsumura
Cast: Kikuko Inoue (Belldandy), Yumi Toma (Urd), Aya Hisakawa (Skuld), Mitsuo Iwata (Gan-chan), Tadashi Nakamura (Narrator), , Anthony Mozdy (Gan-chan), Wendee Lee (Urd), Sherry Lynn (Skuld), Ruby Marlowe (Belldandy), William Frederick (Narrator)

This episode acknowledges that it is the last episode. As this series is just taking the characters of the series "Ah! My Goddess" and having fun with them, it is often very meta. Here the goddesses and Gan-chan think what they should do as this is the last episode. They decide to celebrate. Funniest moment in this episode is, when Gan-chan dreams (multiple times) that the goddesses had made a lot of clones of him, saying how else he thinks he would have survived the series
