Rating: NR
Length: 1h39
Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1
Audio: English
Subtitles: English

Stars:
Billy Warlock
Connie Danese
Ben Slack
Evan Richards
Patrice Jennings

Plot:
Even though he's from a wealthy family, teenager Bill Whitney (Billy Warlock of BAYWATCH and GENERAL HOSPITAL) just can't seem to fit in among the mysterious upper class of Beverly Hills. But when he learns that his parents and sister may be involved in secret sexual depravity, Bill begins to suspect that rich people are indeed very different from the rest of us. Can Bill escape his initiation into a nightmare world of privileged perversion or will he be forced to make the ultimate contribution to SOCIETY?

My Thoughts:
This one sure feel like watching like a George Romero's zombie movies films, not because it's a zombie movie but because it had a social message big as the arm... no subtility here. Not that I don't agree with this message, but I want to watch a horror movie not a Michael Moore "documentary".

Anyway this isn't really scary or interesting untill the end (even if we have a good idea of what will happen). That part had some pretty good effects but is, at least for me, ruined by the fact there is too much humour in what is a strange and scary situation. The acting isn't that good, but I thing it's mostly because of the way it was directed.

I've seen better I've seen worst, but as you know horror and humour doesn't mix well with me.

Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell, a review by GSyren

TitleFrankenstein and the Monster From Hell (883316-857052)

ActorsPeter Cushing, Shane Briant, Madeline Smith, David Prowse, John Stratton
Produced1973 in United Kingdom
Runtime93 minutes
AudioEnglish Dolby Digital Mono, Commentary Dolby Digital Mono
SubtitlesEnglish
OverviewBaron Frankenstein is dead, right? That's precisely what he wants folks to think. He's had it up to here with a public that doesn't appreciate the trouble a mad scientist goes through to snatch good body parts. To carry on his work, he holes up in a place where the possibilities are utterly maddening: a home for the criminally insane. A hand here. A brain there. True to form, the Baron (Peter Cushing) keeps his gruesome creation (David Prowse, widely known for his later portrayals of Darth Vader) in stitches in this sixth and final frightfest in Hammer Films' Frankenstein cycle.

"Friends" Marathon, a review by Rogmeister

The One With Two PartsYes, it's a "Friends" two-parter!  It's also a crossover with, of all shows, ER!  Joey meets Phoebe's twin sister Ursula and gets involved with her, which upsets Phoebe.  Ross comes to the sudden realization that he's actually going to be a father.  Rachel injures her ankle trying to take down Christmas lights and Rachel takes her to the hospital where they meet up with the ER doctors (played by ER's George Clooney and Noah Wylie).  And Ross rushes his pet monkey Marcel to the hospital after he swallows a Scrabble tile...giving him his first real experience of being a father figure.  This episode actually also crosses over with a second NBC show as Helen Hunt and Leila Kenzle appear in one scene as their "Mad About You" characters.

The One With All The Poker is one of my favorite episodes of the first season...I'm not sure why...maybe because I used to have friends of my own that I used to play poker with.  The girls suck at poker and lose several times so they get coached by Monica's Aunt Iris (Beverly Garland).  It all culminates in a high stakes poker game one night following Rachel's failing to get a job that she desperately wanted.  You could also call this "The One Where Marcel Keeps Playing 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight'" as Ross' monkey keeps playing a certain CD...
