My Thoughts:

Just an average entry in the Bond franchise. Some good individual performances stand out against a story that has been rewarmed many times over, even within the 007 saga itself.

Robert Carlyle was great as the dying villain who feels nothing physically but is inflamed emotionally by the evil Elektra played by Sophie Marceau. She is undoubtedly gorgeous but I found the french arrogance shining through and it put me off somewhat. Always great to see Robbie Coltrane play someone, anyone other than Hagrid, ala Harry Potter. He reprised the character he played in Goldeneye but signed out after this one. And then there is Denise Richards, looking as sexy as she ever has, playing a nuclear physicist which is just wrong on so many levels....  ::) Pierce Brosnan was a serviceable Bond but doesn't hold a candle to Connery, my favorite.

Still haven't watched either of the Daniel Craig Bond movies yet which I hear are unlike anything that came before in the 007 series. Looking forward to watching them.

Hulk vs. Wolverine, a review by addicted2comics

Hulk vs. Wolverine

The Plot:The Canadian government sends in Wolverine to bring down the Hulk after he supposedly wrecked numerous villages across the border reaching civilization. After being hit by tranqs, Wolvie wakes up to Weapon X, who caused the destruction, wanting to make Logan and the Hulk their own personal super-weapon.

My Thoughts: This movie, all be it on the short side, is one I always love to watch. I like the animation, awesome fight scenes, and it gets real serious without getting too far down that road. Why? An old favorite of mine, DeadPool, keeps stealing the spotlight here. It has blood, humor, explosions, and a cute surprise scene after the end credits. I can't help it, gotta give this one a 5 out of 5.

Futurama
1.01 Space Pilot 3000
Writer: David X. Cohen (Writer), Matt Groening (Writer)
Director: Rich Moore, Gregg Vanzo
Cast: Billy West (Fry/Farnsworth/Zoidberg/Various (voice)), Katey Sagal (Leela (voice)), John DiMaggio (Bender/Various (voice)), Dick Clark (Himself (voice)), Leonard Nimoy (Himself (voice)), Tress MacNeille (Various (voice)), Dave Herman (Various (voice)), Kath Soucie (Michelle (voice))

I have been a fan of this series since day one. It's nice to finally see the first episode again. It has been awhile. I forgot that it started out with Fry running from Leela because he wanted to avoid to have a career chip implanted. They have dropped this concept later it seems.
And sure enough, you can really see Nibbler's shadow in the scene where Fry falls into the freezer. It was an episode in a later season which revealed that it was no accident that he was frozen, but caused by Nibbler when he travelled back in time to ensure Fry being frozen.
Is it me, or are the voices that Billy West is doing (Fry/Farnsworth) a little different than later in the series?
