Plot:
Hollywood funnyman, Adam Sandler (The Wedding Singer), scores big laughs in a smash comedy hit where the laughs never run dry. Just an odd ball mama's boy who grew up on a farm, Bobby Boucher (Sandler) never wanted anything more than to quench the thirst of the dehydrated athletes who treat him like dirt. But when Coach Klein (Henry Winkler - Scream) makes the call that allows Bobby to finally stand up for himself, it unleashes a torrent of bottled-up frustration... and exposes a talent for defense that transfoms him from a meek "water distribution engineer" to the hardest hitter ever to roam the athletic playing field. Also featuring award-winning Kathy Bates (Titanic, Misery) and sexy Fairuza Balk (The Craft) in a hilarious cast of stars.

My Thoughts:
A fun little comedy. I haven't seen this movie for eight years. I still enjoy it. It is nothing special, but I like it anyway.
A little bit of trivia: In the German dub, instead of having his regular German voice, they employed "Richie", a "comedian" who was in the charts at the time with his song "Supa Richie".

He was known to purposely use very bad grammar, which they have used for the Bobby character here.

Tooth Fairy, a review by addicted2dvd

Tooth Fairy
A bad deed on the part of a tough minor-league hockey player results in an unusual sentence: He must serve one week as a real-life tooth fairy.

Stars:
Dwayne Johnson
Ashley Judd
Stephen Merchant
Julie Andrews

My Thoughts:
This is the first one Britt and I decided to watch together. It is one of the movies my brother downloaded for us to watch together. It is a Disney movie starring Dwayne Johnson as a reluctant Tooth Fairy. I went into this one with some doubts. But I must admit... there was quite a few laughs in it. Definitely worth the time put into it. I will have to add this one to my DVD collection when I can.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

The Flash Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

The Flash Marathon

Image: The Flash and Nightshade Team up once again to stop the Nightshade imposter

Episode 16 - Deadly Nightshade
He upholds the law - even if he has to kill everyone to do it. A wannabe posing as Nightshade is nothing more than a vigilante in disguise, and The Flash and the real Nightshade are allied in an effort to stop him.

Guest Stars:
Richard Belzer as Joe Kline
Jason Bernard as Desmond Powell
Richard Burgi as Curtis Bohannan
Denise Crosby as Rebecca Frost
Mike Genovene as Lt. Warren Garfield
Will MacMillan as Keefe

My Thoughts:
Another excellent episode that I enjoyed every minute of. This one was just as good... if not better then the first episode with the Nightshade. He and The Flash work good together. Having Denise Crosby guest starring in the episode is another plus.
