Freaky Friday, a review by TomTitle: Freaky Friday Year: 2003 Director: Mark Waters Rating: FSK-0 Length: 93 Min. Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85 Audio: German: Dolby Digital 5.1, English: Dolby Digital 5.1, Turkish: Dolby Digital 5.1 Subtitles: Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Turkish Stars: Jamie Lee Curtis Lindsay Lohan Mark Harmon Harold Gould Chad Michael Murray Plot: In the tradition of 'The Princess Diaries', Disney's 'Freaky Friday' is the extremely funny and heartwarming comedy everyone will love. Dr. Tess Coleman (the hilarious Jamie Lee Curtis) and her teenage daughter Anna (rockin' Lindsay Lohan) have one thing in common - they don't relate to each other on anything. Not clothes or men or Anna's passion to be in a rock band. Nothing. Then one night a little mystic mayhem changes their lives and they wake up to the biggest freak-out ever. Tess and Anna are trapped inside each other's body! But Tess's wedding is Saturday, and the two must find a way to switch back - fast! Literally forced to walk in each other's shoes, will they gain respect and understanding for the other's point of view? Filled with comedy, rock 'n' roll and lots of heart, 'Freaky Friday' is freaking fun everyone can enjoy together. Awards:
Extras: Deleted Scenes Featurettes Music Videos Outtakes Scene Access My Thoughts: A great body-switch movie. In the beginning it is an okay movie, but after the switch took place the movie is real fun. Both actresses do a great job portraying the other self. And there are some real funny reactions by both of them. Rating: (From Tom's Random Reviews on April 4th, 2010) Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, a review by AchimJay and Sielnt Bob Strike Back Boy did Kevin Smith drop the ball on this one. The story is rather lame and feels forced (admittedly, the story is rarely the main focus of his films, almost like a McGuffin) and especially the acting is very flat, feels like the lines are merely recited, not felt. It clearly shows that Jay and Silent Bob are great side characters in front of the convenient store (or burger joint) but cannot hold a movie by themselves. (From DCO third annual November Alphabet Marathon - discussion/review/banter thread on November 6th, 2009) Angel Marathon, a review by addicted2dvdAngel: Season 4 17. Inside Out Original Air Date: 4/2/2003 Desperate to find out why Cordelia has turned to the dark side, Angel goes to demon Skip for answers. Forcing the truth out of him, Angel learns that all that's transpired, Connor's birth, Cordelia's ascension to the higher plane, Angel turning into Angelus and Cordelia's pregnancy, were all a part of a higher being's plan to create something even more powerful than itself. Guest Stars: Gina Torres David Denman Stephi Lineburg Julie Benz My Thoughts: Another right good episode. We even get to see Darla and the demon Skip again. And everything is pretty much tied up in this episode to reveal the answer to any questions from this season to this point. My Rating: (From Angel Marathon on March 20th, 2010) |
