My Thoughts:
Going into this one I was expecting pretty bad... because when I bought it sight unseen (never even seeing the trailer) I had several people tell me how bad it was and that they were sorry I wasted my money on it. So I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed this film. It definitely could be better... but I found it to be above average. Maybe it was because my expectations were low... or maybe because I am not familiar with the source material as I never read the comics. But I found it was worth the time put in to watch it.

My Rating:

Basic Instinct, a review by addicted2dvd

Basic Instinct
Michael Douglas stars as Nick Curran, a tough but vulnerable detective. Sharon Stone costars as Catherine Tramell, a cold, calculating, and beautiful novelist with an insatiable sexual appetite. Catherine becomes a prime suspect when her boyfriend is brutally murdered - a crime she had described in her latest novel. Obsessed with cracking the case, Nick descends into San Francsico's forbidden underground where suspicions mount, bodies fall, and he find within himself an instinct more basic than survival.

My Thoughts:
This is a movie I haven't seen in many years. I think it is a good murder mystery/thriller. And I really enjoyed Sharon Stone's.... uhhh... performance in it. Yeah that's it... that is what I was thinking... honest! Anyway... I enjoyed the movie... glad I finally added it to my collection. I can definitely see myself watching it again.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

Pete's Pilots, a review by addicted2dvd

The Incredible Hulk

The Incredible Hulk (Pilot)
In this thrilling two- hour movie, Dr. David Banner inadvertantly exposes himself to a high amount of gamma radiation and is horrified to discover that in moments of frustration and anger he is transformed into the incredibly powerful Hulk. Susan Sullivan guest stars.

My Thoughts:
This was always one of my favorite shows at the time it originally aired. I still enjoy it very much. I like this origin story they made... even if it don't stay accurate to the comics.  At this point I have the first 2 seasons as well as all the TV movies in my collection. But I do hope to get the final 3 seasons eventually.

My Rating:
