The Indian in the Cupboard, a review by addicted2dvdTitle: The Indian in the Cupboard Year: 1995 Director: Frank Oz Rating: PG Length: 96 Min. Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.78:1, Pan & Scan 1.33:1 Audio: Commentary: Dolby Digital: Dolby Surround, English: Dolby Digital: Dolby Surround, French: Dolby Digital: Dolby Surround, Spanish: Dolby Digital: Dolby Surround Subtitles: English, French, Spanish Stars: Hal Scardino Litefoot Lindsay Crouse Richard Jenkins Rishi Bhat Steve Coogan Plot:Extras: Scene Access Audio Commentary Bonus Trailers Gallery Production Notes Closed Captioned My Thoughts: Going into this one I couldn't remember if I ever seen it before or not. The trailer looked vaguely familiar but I didn't know if I was remembering the movie or just seeing the trailer before. After watching it I realize this is my first time seeing it. While it is not a bad movie... I found it... well I don't want to say slow. It just didn't keep my attention as much as I would have hoped. But it is a decent enough movie. And considering I got it in a 2 movie set along with Hook for only $6 I really can't complain at all... it is definitely worth the time and money I put into it. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Month Long Birthday Marathon on May 8th, 2011) Ella Enchanted, a review by TomTitle: Ella Enchanted Year: 2004 Director: Tommy O'Haver Rating: G Length: 96 Min. Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85 Audio: English: Dolby Digital 5.1, French: Dolby Digital 5.1, Commentary: Dolby Digital Stereo Subtitles: English, Spanish Stars: Anne Hathaway Hugh Dancy Cary Elwes Aidan McArdle Joanna Lumley Plot: Anne Hathaway, the delightful star of The Princess Diaries, is Ella in the charming fairy-tale adventure Ella Enchanted. On the day of her birth, Ella is given a gift from her Fairy Godmother - the gift of obedience, which is also a curse. Under no circumstance can Ella refuse anything she is asked to do, no matter how wicked it may be. Tired of being taken advantage of, Ella, with a talking book as her companion, leaves home to find her Fairy Godmother and return her unwanted gift. This simple errand soon turns into an amazing journey filled with ogres, giants, wicked stepsisters, elves and the plotting of Prince Charmont's evil uncle, who wants to take over the crown and rule the kingdom. Bursting with colorful characters, music, wit and whimsy, Ella Enchanted is a truly enchanting and heart-warming tale that will captivate the entire family. I enjoy this movie each time. I have seen it on average once a year since I got it. Anne Hathaway is just great in it. I think it's sad that she turned her back on these kind of roles.Rating: (From Tom's Random Reviews on June 28th, 2009) Tom's TV Pilots marathon, a review by Tom
