For Your Eyes Only, a review by Dragonfire

James Bond is thrust into one of his most riveting adventures in this jam-packed free-for-all of outrageous stunts, passionate encounters and exciting confrontations. Roger Moore portrays Agent 007 with lethal determination in a plot that finds him infiltrating the Greek underworld and racing against time to find a stolen device capable of controlling a fleet of nuclear submarines.

My Thoughts

This is a decent addition to the Bond movie series, though it isn't as strong as some of the other movies.  There is good action, including more impressive ski scenes.  The main villain isn't anything special.  The women were fine.  Thankfully James resisted Bebe.  She was entirely too young for him.  Her being interested in James wasn't as believable.  I like the movie, but it is just sort of an average Bond movie.  The best part of the movie is the theme song.

 :D

I still have to watch the extras and I'll get a review typed up to post on Epinions eventually.

Fred Claus, a review by Rich

3/12

Fred Claus

When wayward sibling Fred Claus (Vaughn) is bailed out of jail by his saintly brother Nick (Giamatti), he agrees to work at the North Pole for the pre-Christmas rush. But with efficiency expert Clyde (Spacey) plotting to shut down Santa Claus for good, now is a bad time for Freds brand of chaos...

With the hype that this would become a xmas favourite for years to come, my expectations were high. Sadly it was a festive flop.
Despite wonderful sets (North Pole) and potentially talented cast, the script is dreadfully poor and short of laughs. It never felt Christmassy, and surely that has to be the number one focus for this type of movie?
It was all a bit too contrived and the actors going through their paces, I dont want to 'sleigh' the film too much but really would not recommend anyone purchasing this dvd   :-\

Tales from the Crypt Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Tales from the Crypt: Season 1

2. And All Through the House
On Christmas Eve a woman slaughters her husband and learns that she's on Santa's naughty list when an escaped maniac dressed as Santa Claus shows up at her doorstep with a special present for her.

Guest Stars:
Mary Ellen Trainor
Larry Drake
Marshall Bell
Lindsey Whitney Barry

My Thoughts:
Of course being a Christmas episode this time we have the Cryptkeeper dressed like Santa. Now this episode I enjoyed more then I did the first one. Matter of fact it remains on of my favorite episodes. This episode also made me a fan of Larry Drake in horrors. I know Christmas is on the way when I watch this episode!
