BASEketball, a review by RichBASEketball From the creators of the Naked Gun films, and starring the creators of the South Park series, comes a spoof of sports and business and anything else that can draw a hearty laugh. Two best friends (Trey Parker and Matt Stone) create "baseketball"--a sport that combines baseball and basketball--and when their silly idea catches on, they are thrust in the spotlight and become media darlings, much to their chagrin. Dreadful film, who in their right mind could find anything amusing about this rubbish?? Infantile and crude, there are all misses and no hits, and I cannot find one good thing to mention about this pathetic attempt at a comedy. I am surprised anyone who worked on this film is not shamed into disowning it. Great opening stunt! The first 90 minutes are rather fun, but then it gets to space. If they would have left out the ridiculous laser fight, it wouldn't have been so bad. Though Jaws is rather enjoyable, it was getting ridiculous what he surviving. First a free fall without parachute, then a big waterfall, and he even survived the exploding space station!Rating: (From James Bond Marathon on April 11th, 2009) Supernatural Marathon, a review by addicted2dvdSupernatural: Season 1 EPISODE 3: DEAD IN THE WATER Is a series of drownings in a Wisconsin lake the work of a vengeful spirit? A young eyewitness, traumatized into silence by the shock he experienced, may have the power to prophesy the next drowning. Guest Stars: Amy Acker as Andrea Barr Daniel Hugh Kelly as Sheriff Jake Devins Bruce Dawson as Bill Carlton My Thoughts: Another good episode. I liked seeing Amy Acker (Fred on Angel). I especially enjoyed seeing her in the bathtub scene! Of course that bathtub scene was good fir other then the obvious reason. This episode has a good story, characters you care about. And I was actually surprised how good Dean was with the young boy. The kid did a good job of acting.... especially considering he had to do his role with virtually no lines. Had to do everything with body language. My Rating: (From Supernatural Marathon on January 3rd, 2010) |
