Fantasia 2000, a review by dfmorgan

Fantasia 2000

Part of

Fantasia

Year: 1999
Director:
Cast:
OverviewWatched: 28th. Nov 2010
My Thoughts: Not quite as wonderful as the original Fantasia, maybe because the themes used within the images are similar to the earlier themes. Still very enjoyable though.

My Rating: An enjoyable 3

Vertigo, a review by addicted2dvd

Title: Vertigo
Year: 1958
Director: Alfred Hitchcock
Rating: PG
Length: 128 Min.

Stars:
James Stewart
Kim Novak
Barbara Bel Geddes
Tom Helmore
Henry Jones

Plot:
A San Francisco detective suffering from acrophobia investigates the strange activities of an old friend's wife, all the while becoming dangerously obsessed with her.

My Thoughts:
This one I watch off On-Demand. One of the On-Demand channels is having a Hitchcock month of sorts and has a folder with a few of his most popular movies. I went to watch this and what happens?... I fell asleep! No... I didn't find it that boring. I just was up late last night and then woke early this morning. I just needed an extra hour I guess. Plus the fact that I think I am getting sick over here.

I think I may have messed myself up a little on this one. While I tried not to I was really hyped up to watch this one as I always heard it was a great one. So while I enjoyed it very much... I was kind of expecting more from it. So while it was very enjoyable... at the same time I was kind of thinking... ok... that's it? All THAT hype for this? I don't want you to get the wrong idea here... this is one I definitely want to add to my collection!

Both James Stewert and Kim Novak were wonderful in this movie. The story kept my interest... and the suspense was definitely there.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

NCIS Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

NCIS: Season 3: Disc 4

13. DECEPTION
Navy lieutenant commander in charge of a shipment of nuclear weapons disappears and the NCIS team must solve the case before the secret location of the weapons is discovered.

My Thoughts:
This is a very good episode. They had to work fast to find the missing lieutenant commander.

My Rating:

14. LIGHT SLEEPER
The wives of two Marines are killed. Fearing that the next victim is a woman and her newborn baby, the NCIS teams springs into action.

My Thoughts:
Another one I enjoyed... but not quite as much as most. And I really can't put my finger on why. The story is good... everyone did a good job... but this one just left me a little disappointed for some reason.

My Rating:

15. HEAD CASE
The NCIS team stumbles upon a grisly discovery in an illegal automotive chop shop run by Marines. Now the crew must look for the full body of evidence.

My Thoughts:
A good episode. Story kept me interested through-out. Definitely worth the time put into it.

My Rating:

16. FAMILY SECRET
An ambulance supposedly carrying the remains of a Marine mysteriously explodes. The NCIS team discovers the ambulance was rigged to blow up, but that the DNA of the victim does not match that of the deceased Marine.

My Thoughts:
A good... but somewhat standard episode. Not one that I think of when I think of my faovrite episodes. Felt more like a good filler episode then anything else.

My Rating:
