My Thoughts:

I can say with a fair amount of conviction even without having seen the last installment, Terminator Salvation, that Judgment Day is hands down, and always will be, the best movie in the franchise.

It has all the best lines, the best scenes and the most WOW moments. Be honest... when this first came out and you watched it for the first time you were blown away by the special effects... yes? The T-1000 and it's ability to morph, liquefy, mimic and kick ass was groundbreaking for the time and another pioneering moment of many for James Cameron.

Another thing you have to give Cameron kudos for... his taste of women. We had a recent up close and personal with the gorgeous Katherine Bigelow but my favorite of the ex's is Linda Hamilton. She is a breathtaking vision in this movie. Ripped, toned, athletically graceful and mean! Her facial expressions during her stay in the mental hospital invoke fear... better to take your chances with the Terminator rather than her when she's pissed.

I almost forgot this was Edward Furlong's breakout movie and I find after this viewing that I didn't care too much for him. He didn't quite have the chops yet at that young age to pull off the cockiness of his character. He did go on to have some good roles after that however.

My favorite image from this classic?

Attack Force, a review by GSyren

Confession time! I like watching Steven Seagal movies. Even when they're bad there's something satisfying in seeing Seagal beat up bad guys. So I bought this 6 pack, and these movies are not very good. But there is one that really stands out, so...

TitleAttack Force (Disc ID: C249-A028-80F6-3179)
DirectorMichael Keusch
ActorsSteven Seagal, Lisa Lovbrand, David Kennedy, Matthew Chambers, Danny Webb
Produced2006 in United States
Runtime90 minutes
AudioEnglish Dolby Digital 5.1, French Dolby Digital 5.1, Italian Dolby Digital 5.1, Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1,
SubtitlesArabic, English, French, Italian, Hindi, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch
OverviewSteven Seagal (Shadow Man, Black Dawn) is back in this high-octane, action thriller! When Marshall L Lawson (Seagal) loses his strike-team in a cold-blooded and seemingly random attack, he takes it upon himself to investigate the suspicious circumstances of the brutal killings. Resolute in his pursuit, Marshall engages in merciless battle with a drug dealer operation that appears to be secretly funded by a rogue arm of the military.
My thoughtsanything like Seagal. So the result is that some scenes have Seagal's own voice and some scenes have him speaking in a totally different voice, making this a truly bizarre experience. And the aliens are now humans, addicts of some new and dangerous drug, but the still blink the wrong way around. It's a little like Plan 9 From Outer Space where Bela Lugosi is replaced by Ed Wood's wife's chiropractor holding a cape in front of his face. And the storyline in this movie makes even less sense than the one in Plan 9.

Supernatural Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Supernatural: Season 1

EPISODE 4: PHANTOM TRAVELER
A plane reservation is a ticket to terror when a phantom traveler forces a jet into a crash landing. Knowing the phantom is on another flight, Sam and Dean board to attempt an in-air exorcism.

Guest Stars:
Jaime Ray Newman as Amanda Walker
Brian Markinson as Jerry Panowski
Kett Turton as Max Jaffe
Daryl Shuttleworth as Jack Lambert

My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this one quite a bit. I liked that they made Dean vulnerable to demon possession since he was afraid of flying. They got their first clue that their father is still around and ok in this episode. Well worth checking this one out.
