Falling for a woman was an unimaginable situation for wife, mother and church-goer Elena (Necar Zadegan, 24). However when her friendship with out lesbian writer Peyton (Traci Dinwiddie, Supernatural) transforms swiftly from a one-sided crush into a torrid extramarital affair, her supposedly heterosexual world is turned upside down. Coming out of the closet won't be easy, with Peyton by her side, Elena is determined to put right all the wrongs and be true to herself.

Celebrated writer/director Nicole Conn (Claire of the Moon, Cynara) has crafted a beautiful tale of lesbian love, family commitments and everything in between is the ultimate ode to star-crossed lovers and desires that know no bounds.

Extras:
  • Featurettes
  • Scene Access

My Thoughts:
A nice movie. One of the better independently produced lesbian themed movies. Though no real surprises. It holds the record of the longest movie kiss "organic to the film".
The actors all did a great job.

My Thoughts:
I went in not expecting much from this one... as I was told the odd numbers were not as good as the even number movies. Maybe not expecting much helped... but I enjoyed this movie. I thought it was a good continuation of The Wrath of Khan.  One thing I was sorry to see was the replacement of Kristie Alley as Saavik. At least they didn't replace the actress again for The Voyage Home. I did find it a little weird that Christopher Lloyd played a Klingon in this movie. Not that he wasn't fine in it... it was just strange to hear his familiar voice for a Klingon.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

"Due South" marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

We Are the Eggmen

Since starting season 2 I have found that I just didn't care for this series as much as I had. But I must admit... this episode I enjoyed. It felt like the episodes from season 1. I got a kick at the end of the episode with them throwing the eggs to get the bad guys. Was a fun episode.
