Anatomy, a review by Boomstick98

Anatomy (2000)

Plot: When a gifted medical student is accepted into a prestigious anatomy class it seems like a dream come true. But she soon uncovers a secret society whose members perform grisly autopsies on living subjects plunging her into a nightmarish world from which no one escapes to tell the terrifying truth.

My O: This movie had a good premise, and I was expecting good things going in. Maybe a little too much. It started out really well with a well done autopsy scene at the beginning, but then it didn't do much. I felt like this movie really wanted to be a "hostel" type movie, but was afraid to go that far. The director tried to build the suspense for the end, but it just wasn't there. I also got the vibe that they had a hard time figuring out how to end the story as the end was just kind of goofy and unoriginal.

They find themselves in a bloody game of cat-and-mouse with the maniacal Jason, who stalks their every move...and ruthlessly kills them off one by one.

Angel Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Angel: Season 1

15. The Prodigal
Original Air Date: 2/22/2000
An attack by a normally peaceful demon on a subway train leads Angel to a disturbing connection between Kate Lockley's father and an illegal drug warehouse.

Guest Stars:
Elisabeth Rohm
Julie Benz
John Mahon
J. Kenneth Campbell

My Thoughts:
And here we have another episode with flashbacks to the past. This time from when Angel was first changed into a vampire. So We get some scenes with Julie Benz as Darla. And it is another one I enjoyed every second of.

My Rating:
