Mossad, a review by Richsecret trip through Israel... Based on a novel by critically acclaimed novelist, Benjamin Tamuz, Mossad is a haunting story of love, obsession and destiny. Alex (Dan Turgeman), a Mossad agent on a secret mission, meets Thea (Mili Avital), and is deeply affected by her. Though he has felt her presence throughout his life, the prevailing circumstances fraught with violence and danger-preclude the possibility of a relationship between them. Alex is torn by his love for Thea. He sees himself as the mythological Minotaur half-man, half-beast and believes that only her love will transform him and make him fully human. He watches her from afar. This beautiful vibrant woman, a generation younger than himself; the focus of his dreams the moment he first saw her. Bargain bin purchase, that deserves just the bin. What a load of rubbish, avoid like the plague. 1/10 (and thats being generous) (From Around the World in 80 DVD's on January 28th, 2008) Galaxy Quest, a review by DJ DoenaTim Allen ... Jason Nesmith Sigourney Weaver ... Gwen DeMarco Alan Rickman ... Alexander Dane Tony Shalhoub ... Fred Kwan Sam Rockwell ... Guy Fleegman Daryl Mitchell ... Tommy Webber Enrico Colantoni ... Mathesar Robin Sachs ... Sarris Synopsis: Jason Nesmith is a former TV star who played the role of "Commander Taggart" in a show called "Galaxy Quest". Now he attends conventions, gives autographs and opens electronic stores. His co-stars aren't doing much better. But then some real aliens come to Jason in the believe that all the stories about the "N.S.E.A. Protector" and its crew are also real. And they need him and his crew to save their race. My Opinion: I've been a Star Trek for a long time but I've never been that fanatic that I can't enjoy a good parody or homage like this one or the german "USS Highlander" movies. I especially liked the well chosen cast with Tim Allen as Shatner copy (when the stone alien ripped his shirt off, he even walked like Shatner in TOS ), Rickman who is this Shakespeare actor and basically hates his GQ role by now, the tough Alien woman Weaver who is now doomed to repeat the computer and Rockwell as prototypical Redshirt. And of course the geeky fans who dissect every episode for canonical errors. Video: Full Frame 1.33:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital Mono, French: Dolby Digital Mono, Spanish: Dolby Digital Mono Subtitles: English, Spanish Stars: Plot: FROM THE CREATIVE GENIUS OF IRWIN ALLEN ("Lost in Space," "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea," The Poseidon Adventure and The Towering Inferno) COMES ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR AND ORIGINAL SCI-FI SHOWS OF THE 1960s! Determined to prove that Project Tic Toc was capable of sending humans through time, Dr. Tony Newman and Dr. Doug Phillips entered the project's time tunnel before final tests were completed. Now, caught in time and unable to return home, the two scientists battle to stay alive as the Vortex of Time thrusts them into the middle of some of the most significant events in world history. But even more important, as the time travelers encounter famous and influential people of the past, they must make sure their actions don't inadvertently change history and alter the future. Extras: 2002 Unaired TV Pilot Closed Captioned Interviews Photo Gallery Scene Access Time Travelers TV Movie My Thoughts: I finally have finished the second volume of this series. I didn't enjoy this volume as much as the first volume. The reason is, that a lot of boring (obscure historic events), fantastical (aliens) and mystic (Merlin, Robin Hood, Roman gods) story lines were in this volume. The unaired 2002 pilot was interesting to watch, but it is not unbelievable that the series got not picked up. The TV movie "Time Travelers" is one to miss. Not really interesting.
