My Thoughts:
Well... it just felt like it was time to watch a comedy. I enjoy a good comedy horror now and then. I know a lot of people that prefer the TV Series to this movie... and I agree... I do enjoy the series more... but I do still enjoy the movie as well. As much as I enjoy this one...  I have no idea why. It isn't particularly that funny... but all the same I still really get a kick out of it.... and keep finding myself coming back to it! I think if you go into this one expecting what it is... a silly, cheesy movie... then I think you will enjoy it.

My Rating
Out of a Possible 5

Duck, You Sucker, a review by Antares

Duck, You Sucker (1971) 70/100 - After finishing the documentary I reviewed earlier, I decided to do a re-watch of the one Leone film I've only viewed once. After watching it initially I couldn't understand why a lot of people thought it was a lesser effort from Leone. But now after a second viewing, the problems do stand out more clearly. The main problem with it is Rod Steiger. With Leone not speaking any English, he mustn't have been able to realize how awful Steiger's Mexican accent sounds. I really wish Eli Wallach would have been given the role, I do believe he could have made the role more grounded and believable. Another problem is the pacing after the initial ninety minutes, when the film does an about face and focuses completely on the revolutionary aspect of the story. Switching from an action style western to a political sermon throws the mood of the film into reverse. It's still better than almost all other film westerns by Italian directors, but after this second viewing, it will probably be a long time before I watch it again. I wound up dropping its score 10 points. Who knows how much further it can go if I watch it again?

Teal = Masterpiece
Dark Green = Classic or someday will be
Lime Green = A good, entertaining film
Orange = Average
Red = Cinemuck
Brown = The color of crap, which this film is

    Ah! My Goddess: Flights of Fancy (2006/Japan)
IMDb | Wikipedia

FUNimation Productions (United States)
Length:600 min.
Video:Anamorphic Widescreen 1.78
Audio:English: Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo, Japanese: Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo
Subtitles:English

Plot:
The song may say "Thank heaven for little girls" - but who is college student Keiichi Morisato supposed to thank when three honest to goodness living Goddesses move in and take over his life? And should he really be all that grateful?

After all, in most mythologies, close relationships between mortals and immortals usually lead to mortifying complications, so we're already talking about an extremely mixed blessing! And when a FOURTH Goddess suddenly appears, that blessing becomes more like a curse! They may just be trying to help, but sometimes it seems that Belldandy, Skuld, Urd and Peorth might be less concerned with Keiichi's safety than they are with establishing a pecking order and ownership rights!

The delicate celestial balance that exists between human and goddess is thrown into complete and utter chaos in Ah! My Goddess 2 - The Complete Collection!

Aa! Megami-sama!
2.01 Ah! I Wish... Once More!

Director: Hiroaki Goda
Cast: English Vocal Cast), Eileen Stevens (Belldandy (voice)), Drew Aaron (Keiichi Morisato (voice)), Vibe Jones (Urd (voice)), Annice Moriarty (Skuld (voice)), Emily Blau (Megumi Morisato (voice)), Marc Thompson (Tamiya (voice)), Scottie Ray (Otaki (voice)), Marc Thompson (Almighty One (voice)), Evelyn Lantto (Lind (voice)), Herb Lawrence (Priest (voice)), Alissa Brodsky (Ex (voice)), Japanese Vocal Cast), Kikuko Inoue (Belldandy (voice)), Masami Kikuchi (Keiichi Morisato (voice)), Yumi Touma (Urd (voice)), Aya Hisakawa (Skuld (voice)), Issei Futamata (Otaki (voice)), Kiyoyuki Yanada (Tamiya (voice)), Yuriko Fuchizaki (Megumi Morisato (voice)), Mugihito (Priest (voice)), Hidetoshi Nakamura (Almighty One (voice)), Miki Itou (Lind (voice)), Yoko Honna (Ex (voice)), Wataru Hatano (Man (voice))

A little slow start into the otherwise great sequel series to Ah! My Goddess. As the characters are already established, this season has more fun with them. I especially love the sibling rivalry between Urd and Skuld.
