My Thoughts:

I originally added this one to my collection because I am a fan of Kaley Cuoco. This is a TV movie that originally aired on Lifetime. And is one I really did enjoy a lot. It does have a good message it is trying to get across though I think by the end they lost that message a little. And I think the handling should have ended differently. I never had to deal with being fat in school... I was skinny as a rail... couldn't gain a pound no matter how much I ate. Though I have been fighting obesity as an adult. So I do know how some of this feels. Even though the film seems to loose focus, I still enjoyed it quite a lot... and can see myself watching this one again. Definitely worth the time put in to watch it.

The American Experience: Freedom Riders, a review by Antares

The American Experience: Freedom Riders (2010) 85/100 - You just can't beat PBS when it comes to making entertaining, educating & enlightening documentaries. For me, this program and their Nature program are the two best shows they offer. This episode delved into the civil rights protest that began in Washington D.C. and ended in New Orleans in 1961. Started by a relatively new group to the movement, the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE), two small groups of blacks and whites would take a trip through the Deep South on Greyhound and Trailways buses to challenge the segregationist policies that had been outlawed by the Supreme Court in the landmark Brown-vs-The Board of EducationTeal = Masterpiece
Dark Green = Classic or someday will be
Lime Green = A good, entertaining film
Orange = Average
Red = Cinemuck
Brown = The color of crap, which this film is

Pete's Pilots, a review by addicted2dvd

Dexter

Dexter (Pilot)
When blood spatter analyst Dexter Morgan is not out solving murders, he spends his time as a serial killer who eliminates those who do bad things. But his world is shaken when another serial killer commits a series of highly stylized murders in Miami.

My Thoughts:
This is a series that really grabbed me from the pilot episode.  The idea of a serial killer/vigilante working from within the police station is great. It has been a long time since I watched the pilot episode. Not since I bought the set. Which was a blind buy at the time. But I have been watching it every since. Unfortunately I am behind on buying the DVDs as I still only have season 1 in my collection.
