Child's Play 2, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Alex Vincent Jenny Agutter Gerrit Graham Christine Elise Brad Dourif Plot: Andy Barclay has been placed in a foster home after the tragic events of the first film, since his mother was committed. In an attempt to save their reputation, the manufacturers of Chucky reconstruct the killer doll, to prove to the public that nothing was wrong with it in the first place. In doing so, they also bring the soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray back to life. As Chucky tries to locate Andy, the body count rises. Will Andy be able to escape, or will Chucky succeed in possessing his body? My Thoughts: I watched this one on Encore On-Demand. I watched it many years ago when it was first released... but this is the first time since. I liked it quite a bit. Maybe not quite as much as the first one... but close to it if not. I like how it seemed to take place shortly after the first one ended. One of these days I will have to add this one to my DVD Collection. My Rating Out of a Possible 5 Count: Movie Count: 89 TV Ep. Count: 49 I Made It! (10/20) Other Count: 8 I Made It! (10/15) (From Month Long Horror/Halloween Marathon: 2010 on October 25th, 2010) Party Party, a review by Rich15/12 party party It's New Year's Eve and Larry's parents are off to the vicarage dance totally unaware that their home is about to be the venue for the wildest party ever... Music soundtrack features tracks from numerous leading bands of the 80s, including Elvis Costello, Madness, Modern Romance, Bad Manners and Altered Images. Superb 80's nostalgic trip, brilliant music, a cast which is like spot a who'd who of future UK TV stars, some truly brilliant comedy moments. Pretty crap film and storyline non-existent - but who cares! Great viewing for anyone who grew up in UK in the 1980's,for anyone else probably an awful movie. Stars: Plot: Eureka takes place in a high tech fictional community of the same name, located in the U.S. state of Oregon (Washington in the pilot) and inhabited entirely by brilliant scientists working on new scientific advances. The town is operated by a corporation called Global Dynamics (GD), that is overseen by the United States Department of Defense. The town's existence and location are closely guarded secrets. U.S. Marshal Jack Carter stumbles upon Eureka while transporting a fugitive prisoner (his own rebellious teenage daughter Zoe) back to her mother's home in Los Angeles. When a faulty experiment cripples the sheriff of Eureka, Carter finds himself quickly chosen to fill the vacancy. Despite not being a genius like most members of the town, Jack Carter demonstrates a remarkable ability to connect to others, keen and practical insights, and a dedication to preserving the safety of Eureka. My Thoughts: Also I enjoyed watching this first season, it was not something I am dying to continue to watch. Or will I be missing out on something?
