My Thoughts:

This one is also more of a suspense/thriller... though not quite are good as the previous one. The story just didn't grab my interest as much. I did still enjoy it. I just prefer "The Cat and the Canary" over this one.

Above The Law, a review by Rich

Above The Law

When Chicago cop Nico Toscani (Steven Seagal) discovers that suspects apprehended in a drug bust are allowed to walk, he's not happy. Soon Nico himself is asked to turn in his badge. Although he's now off the force, no way is he out of the action. Seagal makes a smashing screen debut in this tale of a good cop who is forced to confront corruption within the department. NICO offers non-stop thrills and features strong supporting performances by Pam Grier and Sharon Stone.

Interesting to see Seagals first major film, a violent all-action blockbuster specifically written with this actor in mind. Lets be honest, his fighting skills are significantly better than his acting prowess!
An 80's feel of course, but the pace is adequate, the script predictable, and easy to watch.
Not ground-breaking, and not good enough to recommend spending any hard earned cash on.

Pete's Pilots, a review by addicted2dvd

Earth 2

First Contact Part 1 and 2
Billionaire Devon Adair disregards government warnings when she hears of a new planet that offers hope for her Syndrome-stricken son, Ulysses. Together with a crew of hopeful "colonists," they embark on the journey to the Earth-like planet, G889, which is 22 light-years away.

My Thoughts:
I heard some good things about this series. So I blind bought it when I found the set on sale for about $15. After watching this double length pilot is that I hope it gets better. I mean it is not terrible... but it is far from what I would consider good. I just found the show slow... and found I wasn't caring about the characters. At least not up to this point.
