Mujhse Dosti Karoge, a review by Tom

Title: Mujhse Dosti Karoge
Year: 2002

Length: 145 Min.

Audio: German: Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo, Hindi: Dolby Digital 5.1
Subtitles: German

Stars:
Hrithik Roshan
Rani Mukherjee
Kareena Kapoor

Kiran Kumar

Plot:
What would you do if the one you loved was actually not the one you loved? What would you do if your best friend was in love with the one you love? What would you do if you knew your best friends are sacrificing their love for you?

Meet Raj (Hrithik Roshan), Pooja (Rani Mukherji) and Tina (Kareena Kapoor) - three best friends thrown into situations that time, letters, love and separation have created for them.

A friendship that starts off in the picturesque, hilly town of Shimla and ends or rather continues in London. Much like Raj, Pooja and Tina, traditional in their values, yet modern in their approach and outlook to life.

Friendship, the beginning of every relationship, ends in love. And love, well, it can only have two endings - a happy and a sad one - or can there be a third ending for these three friends?

MUJHSE DOSTI KAROGE! Is a story of three friends who truly know the meaning of the word 'Dosti'!

MUJHSE DOSTI KAROGE! has music by Rahul Sharma, lyrics by (late) Anand Bakshi, cinematography by Gopal Shah, choreography by Ahmed Khan and art direction by Sharmishtha Roy.

My Thoughts:
This time around I really liked the movie. The last time I said that I liked the first half, but not the second as I felt that Hrithik Roshan's character was too much of a jerk there. Even though I still feel a little like that, I can see why he would be like that. And he even comes to realize it himself at the end and apologizes.
I enjoyed all of the songs in this one. There is even a medley sung which includes 18 famous Bollywood songs. I even recognized a few.
I also grow to like Kareena Kapoor as an actress.

The Losers, a review by dfmorgan

The Losers

Year: 2010
Director: Sylvain White
CastOverview: An explosive action tale of betrayal and revenge, The Losers centres around an elite Special Forces unit sent to the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. But the team soon find that they have become the target of a deadly double cross by a powerful enemy known only as Max.

Now presumed dead, the group makes plans to avenge themselves and clear their names, joined by the mysterious Aisha, a beautiful operative with her own agenda.

The Losers stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen) as Clay; Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek) as Aisha; Chris Evans (Fantastic Four) as Jensen and Idris Elba (The Wire) as Roque, in an incredible action adventure that has to be seen to be believed!

Watched: 16th. Oct 2010
My Thoughts: I haven't read, nor previously heard of, the comics that this film was based upon so cannot compare them. However I found this to be an acceptable park-your-brain type of a film. A tad OTT in places and a little far-fetched in others but generally enjoyable.

My Rating: An enjoyable 3

Plot:
It's DRAWN TOGETHER, the show that finally answers the question which has plagued mankind since the beginning of time and stuff: Can cartoon characters coexist peacefully?

DRAWN TOGETHER, TV's first animated reality show, follows the exploits of eight characters from across the animated universe living together in a house with a thousand cameras and unlimited access to booze, hot tubs and hand grenades.

You'll soil your pants in delight as you witness the entertertaining and morally deplorable exploits of the mystery-solving musician, the superhero, the fat chick, and many, many more (by which we mean five more).

"The first animated reality TV show". It's a celebrity Big Brother version with parodies of famous cartoon characters. My favourite is Princess Clara, the Disney princess parody.
The first episode is a good introduction to the characters. I enjoyed the series though I felt that it ran out of ideas in season three.
