Critters 3: You Are What They Eat, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: John Calvin Aimee Brooks JohnnyChristian Cousins Joseph Cousins Plot: Titanic heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio stars in the third and most outrageous installment of the classic cult tale of the infamous Critters. As the fanged, furious furballs viciously invade an L.A. apartment building and sink their teeth into the low-rent tenants, DiCaprio leads the battle to beat back the conniving critters and save the planet. It won't be an easy job, but he's the one person the human race must depend on to destroy these terrifying alien hedgehogs once and for all! Extras: Scene Access Feature Trailers Bonus Trailers DVD-ROM Content Closed Captioned My Thoughts: While the series is still enjoyable... for some mindless escapism... this one went a bit downhill for me. This time they are in an apartment complex in the city after stowing away in a camper of a vacationing family. This time around the characters wasn't as likable. Just an average fair this time around. My Rating Out of a Possible 5 Count: Movie Count: 32 TV Ep. My Thoughts: OK... anyone that knows me, knows I do not like music... so me watching such a movie is basically unheard of. But with my daughter spending the day with me today for Father's Day I promised her I would watch one of her movies with her. So I thought while I was at it I would also surprise the hell out of all my friends at dvdcollectorsonline.com and said yes when my daughter asked about watching this one. You all already know I hated all the music in this movie... so lets move on to the movie itself. Well... it is a good story. The acting could use some improvement. and some of the stuff beyond the music made me want to get a pair of ear plugs. But I as I said... the story itself was pretty good. My Thoughts: I just finished watching every episode of the first season. Yes it looks like I got hooked on another one of my old favorites again. I don't know if I will watch every episode I own or not at this point... but if I do it will take me a bit... as I own 9 seasons! But I do know I am ready to start season two. Especially with such a great cliffhanger that season one left off on. It has been a while since I watched these early episodes. It almost seemed weird seeing these characters so young again. But I guess that is to be expected when it comes to a series that lasted 10 seasons! Anyway... I really enjoyed every minute of re-watching the first season... and can't wait to pop in the first disc to season 2!My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Addicted2dvd's Random TV Series Watched on August 18th, 2011) |
