Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning, a review by addicted2dvdTitle: Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning Movie Count: 94 TV Ep Count: 45 Other Count: 2 Time Started: 5:15pm Plot: Jason is back, hockey mask and all. And he's up to his old maniacal tricks in 'Friday The 13th Part V - A New Beginning'. This time he seems to have set his sights on the young patients at a secluded halfway house. And more than a few of his teen targets end up in half, in quarters... you name it, Jason does it. My Thoughts: This one I liked... but not as much as some of the others. Some of the characters are enjoyable... but others I just couldn't get myself to care about. I did like the younger boy, Reggie and his grandfather. I also didn't care for the twist at the end of this one. But it is still enjoyable for what it is... and glad I have it in my collection. My Rating Out of a Possible 5 (From My Month Long Horror/Halloween Marathon: 2008 on October 29th, 2008) Up, a review by TomTitle: Up Year: 2009 Director: Pete Docter Rating: U Length: 96 Min. Extras: Deleted Scenes Featurettes Interviews Scene Access My Thoughts: I really like the first half of this movie. Great introductions of the characters. But as with the first time I have watched it in the cinema, I felt it lost something from the moment "Kevin" appears. And then shortly after with all the talking dogs. It's a little too ridiculous even for a movie where a house flies with balloons. But still the second half is worth watching. Some great action scenes, which were even better in 3D.Rating: (From Tom's Random Reviews on June 26th, 2010) That '70s Show: Season Two, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Topher Grace as Eric Forman Laura Prepon as Donna Pinciotti Ashton Kutcher as Michael Kelso Danny Masterson as Steven Hyde Mila Kunis as Jackie Burkhart Wilmer Valderrama as Fez Debra Jo Rupp as Kitty Forman Extras:
My Thoughts: I just finished season 2... I went through this season in no time. And am enjoying the series even more. Tommy Chong (Cheech & Chong) was in several episodes of this season. He made a pretty good addition to the cast. Once again I can't decide which episode would be my favorite of the season as they were all good... but if pushed I would probably go with the 2 part episode where Donna and Eric loose their virginity. I would love to go straight to season 3... but don't have it yet. Hopefully I will be able to get it before too long.My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Addicted2dvd's Random TV Series Watched on January 23rd, 2012) |
