Mystery Men, a review by addicted2dvdMystery Men My Thoughts: Felt a little like a comedy today. This is a pretty good comedy... though I did find it a bit silly at times... and I have definitely seen better superhero movies. I liked most of the cast as well... though one person on the cast I was not impressed by is Greg Kinnear as Captain Amazing. At least he wasn't in most of the movie. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Superhero Marathon on May 26th, 2009) Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Johnny Depp as Sweeney Todd Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovett Alan Rickman as Judge Turpin Timothy Spall as Beadle Sacha Baron Cohen as Pirelli Plot: Johnny Depp and Tim Burton join forces again in a big-screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's award-winning musical thriller. Extras:
My Thoughts: This is one that my daughter Brittany picked out to watch with me. I enjoyed it quite a bit... but then how can you go wrong with a cast such as this? I really liked both the story and the settings. This is a film that easily kept my attention through-out. I would definitely recommend this one. Rating: (From July Movie Marathon: Musicals (Yes... You read right!) on July 11th, 2016) The X-Files Marathon, a review by addicted2dvdThe X-Files: Season 1 6. Shadows Original Air Date: October 22, 1993 Mulder and Scully investigate a series of unusual murders committed by ghostly force. Guest Stars: Barry Primus as Robert Dorland Lisa Waltz as Lauren Kyte Lorena Gale as Ellen Bledsoe Veena Sood as Ms. Saunders Deryl Hayes as Webster My Thoughts: This one is a good episode with an interesting story. I liked seeing that guy getting hit by no one... and blood flying. Looked pretty cool. My Rating: (From The X-Files Marathon on March 28th, 2010) |
