Suggestions & Requests / Tapatalk or similar

Recently I discovered Tapatalk, a mobile app, which can manage different forum boards. I have the problem, that I am hardly on my PC anymore, and browsing the forum on my mobile phone is a little bothersome. So I was checking if for "TinyPortal", which this forum seems to use, there also exists an app. What I found is, that it seems that there is a Tapatalk plugin or something like it for SMF TinyPortal.

Karsten, would it be possible to have the forum support it? Only if it isn't too much of an effort.

Currently I like to listen to movie podcasts. My favorite is “Now Playing“. I also listen to and can recommend “How Did this get made?“ and “Q&A with Jeff Goldsmith“. I tried a few others but didn't find any which clicked for me.
Are there any you can recommend?
Sadly spill.com doesn't exist anymore and I didn't find any working podcast feed for their old podcast.
Also sadly I missed some interesting donation drive podcasts from Now Playing, which now are not available anymore.

Should we set a pacing (e.g. four episodes per week) or would you prefer to set your own pacing?

The Collector's Place / Physical or virtual unwatched pile?

I was re-arranging my DVD shelves a little today. The aim was to get my unwatched stuff together at one place, instead of the three places I had. I didn't completely manage that though, as I have way too much unwatched stuff. According to DVD Profiler, I have 370 unwatched profiles (218 of those are TV season sets).
Now I am thinking, that maybe it would be better, to put my unwatched stuff to where I would put it if I had already watched it. Especially considering my many unwatched TV season sets, and therefore have the complete series next to each other. And to only have a virtual unwatched pile in my DVD Profiler database.
How are you handling your unwatched DVDs/Blu-rays?

As you know, I am not much of a horror fan. As a matter of fact, last year was the first time that I participated in our customary October marathon. I watched some of my few horror movies then.
For this year, I saved up two releases I bought this year especially for this month, which I plan to watch for this marathon. Which are these two:

Like every year, I plan to watch some movies at the FantasyFilmFest, which soon will come to Munich.
Looking through the movies which will run, there aren't any, which have really caught my eye.

DVD / Please change your player's menu to your native language

I just put my German release of Futurama's sixth season into my DVD player and I got the message "please change your player's menu to your native language" and it does not continue. This is the first time I got something like this. I have set my Player to English, which I prefer.
I think it is because of the anti-piracy spot, which usually comes up in English because of my player's setting. Here they have gone one step further and want to force me to watch the German anti-piracy spot
Has anyone ever seen something like this before?
I guess I won't be watching Futurama now after all. I am not in the mood for such a crap.

I had rewatched the movie "Antitrust" last weekend and I got curious, what Rachael Leigh Cook did recently. I then stumbled upon this series. I have checked out the first episode so far and it looks promising.

You probably know how it goes: You research something and you get from one thing to another.
I sometimes like to listen to a German rock band called J.B.O. who originally became known through their covers of famous songs. Usually by changing the text to something funny. Similar to Weird Al Yankovic, only that they make the songs "more metal".
One of the songs is this one:
I didn't know that this was a cover until recently (in recent years they compose a lot of songs themselves and I thought this was one of them). But I now heard the original on the radio at the gym. Finally I remembered to look this song up to see, who did the original.
It is by the German band "Wir sind Helden". Then I got curious, what other songs they did and I listened in on some if them on iTunes. One of the songs was called "Denkmal" (Memorial). And the first few seconds of the chorus reminds me of something in a movie or TV show. I think it was an emotional finale.
Please take a listen to few of the seconds following the time stamp 1:07 in this clip below. I just can't place it, but I think it is from something well known.
