Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, a review by TomTitle: Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home Year: 1986 Director: Leonard Nimoy Rating: FSK-12 Length: 117 Min. Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 2.35 Audio: English: Dolby Digital 5.1, German: Dolby Digital Surround, Commentary: Dolby Digital Surround Subtitles: Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, German, Hungarian, Icelandic, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Turkish Stars: William Shatner Leonard Nimoy DeForest Kelley James Doohan George Takei Extras: Commentary Featurettes Scene Access Trailers My Thoughts: One of the best Star Trek movies further supporting that the Star Trek movies with even numbers are the better ones (that is, until Star Trek: Nemesis came along). Only the premise of having to get whales from the 20th century to the 23rd century I find ridiculous.Rating: Note to Jimmy: This is a recycled review (From Tom's Star Trek Movies Marathon on February 1st, 2009) Secret Agent, a review by JonSecret Agent (1936) 2 out of 5 Novelist Edgar Brodie (John Gielgud) has his death faked by British Intellgence. Giving him a new identity as Richard Ashenden, they persuade him to undertake an espionage commission in Switzerland. Accompanied by beautiful Elsa Carrington (Madeleine Carroll), posing as his wife, and the General (Peter Lorre), an insane professional killer, Brodie/Ashenden becomes embroiled in murder, intrique and a pursuit through the Swiss Alps. My Thoughts: While this is an alright episode... it really wasn't anything too special to me. I imagine that is because of all the classical music playing in this one. It is an obvious homage (Read: Rip-off) of Phantom of the Opera. But all said and done it is a decent episode... but not one that I would consider a favorite.
