Extras: Featurettes Interviews Music Videos Production Notes Scene Access Trailers My Thoughts: I haven't watched this movie since I first got it years ago. My memory was that though it was an average movie, I enjoyed this movie. Somehow it was not as good as I remembered it. But it is still above most of the gross-out comedies we see today. Tara Reid is weak in this movie. I really do not remember a memorable performance of hers except of great role in "Josie and the Pussycats". Simon Helberg (Howard from Big Bang Theory) makes a small appearance in this movie. My Thoughts: Felt like a natural disaster movie this morning. This is in a 4 movie set (2 of which is about 3hrs long) that cost me about $5.00.... which means it is about $1.25 per movie. So at that price I really can't complain too much. Supernova is an almost 3hr TV movie that originally aired on the Hallmark Channel. Not that this is a bad movie... I did enjoy it for what it is. It is just that there was a lot of slow parts. Not surprising with a 3hr movie.... but there is plenty here that could have been taken out to make a more exciting story. I did like the one side storyline that they had going... where we learn earlier on one of the scientist's wife was brutally attacked... the attacker now in jail... but swearing to get revenge. This attacker escapes and comes after the wife and their daughter. The main storyline... while interesting... definitely could have been better. I think it could have had a better conclusion as well as shortened some. But it isn't bad for a lazy day of TV watching... just don't expect too much from it.My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From What Movies I Been Watching on July 14th, 2012) Tom's Random Star Trek Reviews, a review by TomDS9 6.08 Resurrection Writer: Michael Taylor (Writer) Director: LeVar Burton Cast: Avery Brooks (Captain Sisko), Rene Auberjonois (Odo), Michael Dorn (Lt. Commander Worf), Terry Farrell (Lt. Commander Dax), Cirroc Lofton (Jake Sisko), Colm Meaney (Chief O'Brien), Armin Shimerman (Quark), Alexander Siddig (Doctor Bashir), Nana Visitor (Major Kira), John Towey (Vedek Ossan), Philip Anglim (Bareil), Scott Strozier (Security Guard) This time around, two characters from the mirror universe come to DS9. Mirror-Bareil and mirror-Kira. I never found the character of Bareil very interesting which made this episode rather dull. Rating: (From Tom's Random Star Trek Reviews on September 26th, 2009) |
