My Thoughts:
When buying it, I had no idea that this was a movie with time-travel aspects. Nice surprise :)
I had great fun with this movie. It seemed to touch upon different genres. First it reminds very much of Terminator. Then it goes more in the direction of romantic comedy with a cyborg. Then it moves a little on the dramatic side. Then it gets to be a little disaster movie, and ending with a sci-fi time-travel twist.
After watching the movie I had to draw up the timelines to see if I am satisfied with how the time-travel was handled. After doing it, I am tending to liking how it is handled, even though there are some things you have to take at face value.

Rating:

P.S. I made the effort to draw up my drawing on my computer and attached it to this post. Of course it is a complete spoiler!

My Thoughts:
I decided to check this one out today because I felt like watching a horror movie I haven't seen yet. And the plot of this one sounded interesting at least. And it saying that this story was "Inspired by Actual Events" didn't hurt. I went in knowing it could go either way. While I enjoyed this one... it's slow pace did lessen the enjoyment some. Though it still has a good story. I would really like to see another (preferably a little better) movie inspired by Countess Elizabeth Bathory. I have heard of her story before... but this is the first movie I have seen dealing with her.

My Rating:

"Due South" marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

The Gift Of The Wheelman

This episode brings us a little Christmas in July. While not a bad episode... one that had a few laughs in it. this is my least favorite episode so far. And it could be that I am just not used to it yet... but I didn't care for the whole Fraser's father thing. I mean the show was so good without doing this. At this point at least it feels like a step backwards. It basically feels like to me that they are adding something into the mix that is just not needed. Maybe I will see it differently once I get to see him in it more.. but I don't know.
