My Thoughts:
I treaded this one. I enjoyed the first one at the time, but since then, I was not much of a fan of Kevin Smith. Probably since he started smoking weed when working on Zack & Miri with Seth Rogen. At least since then he didn't make a good movie. But as I am hyped to see Clerks 3 (there is no German disc release yet, so I am probably ordering soon a UK release), because I am a fan of the second one, I thought I will finally add the sequel to "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" to my collection. And what I heard of Clerks 3, I probably will enjoy it.

This movie is very meta. Even more so, than the first one. But it has been awhile, since I saw that one. Some of the jokes I liked. I can recommend this movie only for fans of the first one. But as far as I remember, the first one was better.

Benchwarmers, a review by Rich

Benchwarmers

For anyone who's ever been picked on, put down or pushed around, your heroes are here! Rob Schneider, david Spade and Jon Heder star as three older guys who know what it's like to be bullied. After catching some nasty neighbourhood kids picking on a friend's son they strike back by forming a three-man baseball team to challenge the state's best Little Leaguers. Now, cheered on by every nerd, geek and misfit inn town, these underdogs are about to have a field day in this slapstick hit comedy.

Film choice dictated by the company I was in, as normally I wouldn't have viewed this. However I must admit there were quite a good few laughs to be had, farting beef stew into anothers face and projectile vomit jokes are always better when viewing with a crowd and some alcohol intake
it won't test your brain cells or be a pleasure from a cinematography or storyline basis, but just for a few adolescent guffaws it is good value  :D

2016 TV Pilot Reviews, a review by DJ Doena

Graves Website
Graves @ Wikipedia
Graves @ IMDb

Former U.S. President Richard Graves is the last great republican. His presidency has now been over for 25 years and he does the usual stuff former presidents do: Opening senior citizen centers, giving speeches and having his own presidential libraries.

He's also considered to be worst American president ever. It doesn't bother him, though.

Until it does.

When he finally decided to google himself he realizes the true opinion people have of him. For the first time he recognizes the lives that were lost in the war that he started.

And so he decides to change and do everything with the power he still has left to make this country better again.

I only came across this show by pure accident. It was listed besides another show I wanted to watch, so I checked out the Wikipedia page. As you can see for yourselves, it doesn't say much at the moment.

So I decided to check it out for myself.

And I pretty much liked it from the start. Grumpy old men are right up my alley, but Nick Nolte truly sold it for me when he read up on his Google search and realized what he'd done and also when he visited the fallen heroes memorial.

I have still no clue what this show is going to be about but I'll watch it. I like how the people around Graves react to him, I already like Skylar Astin from Ground Floor and it's already way more enjoyable than the actual U.S. presidential election race.
