Return of the Living Dead, a review by Dragonfire

The Return of the Living Dead

Just when you though it was safe to go back to the cemetery - those brain eating zombies are back and hungry for more tasty mortals. A fiendish mix of outrageous humor and heart-stopping terror. The Return of the Living Dead is a "veritable smorgasbord of fun" (LA Herald-Examiner) filled with skin-crawling jolts, eye-popping visuals and relentless suprise!

On his first day on the job at an army surplus store, poor Freddy unwittingly releases nerve gas from a secret U.S. military canister, unleashing a unbelievable terror. The gas re-animates a corps of corpses, who arise from their graves with a ravenous hunger for human brains! And luckily for those carnivorous cadavers, there is a group of partying teens nearby, just waiting to be eaten!

Where Eskimos Live, a review by Rich

in and out of Poland...

In the course of his travels, Vlado meets Sharkey (Bob Hoskins) a rough-hewn Englishman who claims to be a caseworker for UNICEF. Actually, Sharkey is rounding up children for a black market adoption ring in Poland. Sharkey persuades Vlado to join him, assuming the boy would fetch a fair price and Vlado, unaware of Sharkey's true intentions, says yes. Sharkey and Vlado soon become unlikely friends but Sharkey soon learns getting Vlado out of the country may not be so simple

 I could write several pages to describe how awful this film is and why you should not part with any money to purchase it. I gave it one point purely on the scenery, and the child actors performance. This is a poor attempt at trying to cover too many subjects - Bosnia,War,Kidnapping, Relations etc etc., and doing them all badly. Avoid it 1/10  :suicide:

I still remember the very first time I saw this episode. It was the first time it aired on German television. It aired on a Sunday evening after 11pm. I wanted to check it out, but did not expect to like it all that much. But I was then hooked from the very first episode.
I even remember that I was disappointed to see Kenny die because I really liked his character. Little did I know that it was going to be a running joke to have Kenny back for each episode just to have him killed again
