My Thoughts:
Last night we watched this film. It is one I borrowed from the library. Well going into this one you pretty much know what to expect... just a fun and cute film for the entire family. Which is exactly what you get. Of course my being a fan of the superhero films this one appealed to me even more. I found it to be a nice surprise to have some familiar people doing some of the voice roles. There was Colin Hanks from Roswell and Debra Jo Rupp from That '70s Show. I feel comfortable recommending this film for the entire family. I plan on adding this (as well as the other "Buddies" film) to my collecton before too long.

Pete's Pilots, a review by addicted2dvd

Incident On and Off a Mountain Road
"You've always got to expect the unexpected...and do the unexpected." It's the chilling advice a young woman ('Bree Turner') thinks about late one night on a lonely stretch of mountain road. The warning, from her survivalist ex-husband, becomes all too real when a car accident leaves her alone, hurt and hunted by a backwoods maniac called "Moonface" ('John De Santis'). She's learned how to live. She's been trained how to kill. But when trapped in a monster's killing ground, will she know how to survive the most horrific confrontation of them all?

'Ethan Embry' and 'Angus "The Tall Man" Scrimm' co-star in this grisly shocker directed by 'Dan Coscarelli' and adapted from the short story by 'Joe R. Lansdale' (BUBBA HO-TEP) that 'The New York Daily News' hails as "tantalizingly creepy and scary good!"

My Thoughts:
This was a very strong start to the series. A very good story similar to ones like Texas Chainsaw Massacre.... what with the backwoods maniac.  I really liked the twist ending to this episode. DVD quality is great... and is completely loaded with extras. Masters of Horror is well known for all the gore that is in some of the episodes... and even though there is some decent gore... it really was pretty light for this first episode.

My Rating:
