Return to the Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt, a review by addicted2comics

Return to the Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt

The Plot: Adam West and Burt Ward are on the trail of who stole the original Batmobile, and relive their past along the way.

My Thoughts: This is a pretty funny movie. I remember watching a commentary version of the movie they did, and I gotta tell you, as spoof-like this movie may be, the stories in the flashbacks are pretty accurate by the sounds of it! As much as you'd laugh watching the movie alone, that's the real funny part. As nice as it is, I've only seen the movie they did, so I don't have much attachment to the 60s Batman series. I give it a 3.5 out of 5.

The Brothers Grimm, a review by Rich

The Brothers Grimm

Matt Damon (The Bourne Supremacy, Ocean's 12) and Heath Ledger (The Patriot, A Knight's Tale) team up to bring you one of the year's most fantastic adventures in this magical tale based on the lives of the legendary storytellers. Will and Jake Grimm (Damon and Ledger) dazzle small towns with their imaginative folklore and elaborate illusions. But when the brothers journey into a real enchanted forest, they encounter many of the fantastic characters and thrilling situations found in their beloved fairy tales! From the award-winning director of Twelve Monkeys, Brazil and Monty Python And The Holy Grail, this fabulous motion picture is sure to leave you living happily ever after!

A true spectacle of a film, amazing effects, effective cast, humour and truly oddball script. However despite a lot of promise it fails to meet the mark, in fact at times it became boring. Terry Gilliam is written all over the production and delivery, some dark moments, with a touch of cheese thrown in. The sets were fairly spectacular, but I found so much was going on at any one time the screen felt cluttered.
Quirky and entertaining at times, this gothic fairy tale is better in principle and concept than receipt.

Angel Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Angel: Season 4

11. Soulless
Original Air Date: 2/5/2003
With Angel's soul locked away in a safe, the gang begin interrogation. Angelus has the gang arguing after he reveals the truth behind their recent actions.

Guest Stars:
Vladimir Kulich

My Thoughts:
Another excellent episode. I always liked the Evil Angel episodes. Both here on Angel as well as on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I am starting to remember more and more about this storyline... but even with that I am still enjoying every minute of it. Now that they got Angel's soul out... and have it locked away in the safe... what happens? They of course go back to the safe to find his soul missing.

My Rating:
