Seventh Sign, a review by RichSeventh Sign Six signs of the world's end have come to pass as predicted in the Bible. Now a young woman discovers that she and her unborn child play a terrifying part in the chain of events destined to end the world - she has been selected as the chosen instrument of the seventh sign..... Lack-lustre fare with little tension or drama, acting is average at best and storyline plods through mud, only Moore comes out of it with some respect. I'd recommend the Omen opposed to this any day. (From Riches Random Reviews on January 15th, 2009) The Beach Girls, a review by addicted2dvdTitle: The Beach Girls Year: 1982 Director: Pat Townsend Rating: R Length: 91 Min. Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.78:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: Mono Subtitles: N/A Stars: Debra Blee Val Kline Jeana Tomasina James Daughton Adam Roarke Dan Barrows Plot: A coming-of-age story about a bookish young woman who changes during her summer vacation from a bespectacled bookworm to a femme fatale. Extras: Scene Access My Thoughts: This is one of the movies that I got out of the Too Cool for School boxset. This is one of many from that set that I never seen. I went into this one expecting nothing more then a T&A movie. And that is basically what it is. The acting leaves a lot to be desired. The storyline is nothing but a few beach parties one after the other. Then there is a silly contrived side story to make part of the main story work. Sure it has entertainment value... it has tons of beautiful women in bikinis and less throughout the entire movie. But that is about all you get here. Writer: Maurice Hurley (Writer) Director: Rob Bowman Cast: Patrick Stewart (Capt. Jean-Luc Picard), Jonathan Frakes (Cmdr. William Riker), LeVar Burton (Lt. Geordi La Forge), Michael Dorn (Lt. Worf), Marina Sirtis (Counselor Deanna Troi), Brent Spiner (Lt. Commander Data), Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher), John deLancie (Q), Lycia Naff (Ensign Sonya Gomez), Colm Meaney (Chief O'Brien), Whoopi Goldberg (Guinan) This episode introduces us to the Borg. Here Q is much more like the Q we know and love. The Borg become the best villains of TNG. Sadly they are done to death in Voyager later on.
