My thoughtsBond marathon #11

Moonraker is probably my least favorite Bond movie (with the possible exception of Quantum of Solace The Man with the Golden Gun and The Spy who Loved Me), a boat chase where a boat is run over and cut into two (again The Man with the Golden Gun

Later that evening, Guem-sun gets a phone call from a nightclub owner who is holding her husband hostage, claiming that he has run up a huge bill and doesn't have the money to pay for it. My Thoughts:
A fun movie. It stars Doona Bae who I know as the Korean exchange student in "Linda Linda Linda". I almost wouldn't have recognized her, as her character here is quite different.

Pete's Pilots, a review by addicted2dvd

The Ellen Show

Pilot
After both her business and her social life go belly-up, Ellen deides to trade in the stress of her fast-track, big-city life for the slower pace of her small hometown.

My Thoughts:
This series is pretty funny too. I enjoyed it. Unfortunately it didn't last past the one season (18  episodes), But it definitely had it's laughs. I especially liked the scene where Ellen was giving a speech in her old high school when her cell phone rang. She had a bad connection so she walked up to a kid with braces and moved held his head... moving his head around till her phone came in clear.
