My Thoughts:
I had watched this one a few times before with my family. But this time I watched it alone, because I wanted finally to see it with the original English audio track. I think it is a great movie. My favorite Disney iteration of the story. I saw the original animated film. And I saw the official (German) musical version on stage.
Will Smith does a very fun version of the Genie.

Quantum of Solace, a review by goodguy

   Quantum of Solace (2008)
Written by: Paul Haggis, Neal Purvis, Robert Wade
Directed by: Marc Foster
Starring: Daniel Craig, Olga Curylenko
DVD: R2-DE Fox (Mar 27, 2009)

My rating: -

Sorry, not much to say about it. More entertaining than Casino Royale, although a second viewing will have to confirm that, because I gave CR the same rating the first time I saw it, and it dropped to plain "boring" the next time around.

Marc Foster (does anyone remember Stay?) doesn't do action all too well, plus some intercuts are beyond cringeworthy. Gemma Arterton could have been as good as Eva Green, but she didn't have enough screen time. And as far as Olga Curylenko movies go, I prefer Hitman.

Smallville Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Season 1: Disc 6:

21. TEMPEST
A reporter closes in on Clark's secret: Chloe may depart Smallville: LuthorCorp is forced to close. At least the school dance will provide carefree moments for Clark and his friends. Then the twister hits.

My Thoughts:
What a great way to end the first season! The twister scene was amazing! And of course it has plenty of cliffhangers leaving you wanting to see what will happen next!

Over-All Season 1 Thoughts:
I tell you... I forgot just how much the first season was Freak of the Week episodes. I also forgot how fun this first season actually was... It is no wonder that Smallville became such a big of a hit as it did. It started off much stronger then I remembered and in my opinion is still going strong after 6 season! Now to get off here and start season 2!  :)
