My Thoughts:
This is one of the movies that was recently given to me.  Going into this one I wasn't sure what to expect... but as it turns out I enjoyed it quite a bit. There was some things that was a bit hard to get past... like the electricity still working in the mines over 50 years after the minds were abandoned... but I was able to overlook this. Besides... it made it so you could see what was going on very clearly. And be able to clearly see the giant beetle like creatures and the havoc they caused. Because of people getting torn apart by these creatures there is a good amount of gore in this one. So be warned about that if you don't care for gory movies. But this is one I feel good about recommending if you don't mind leaving your brain at the door when you watch a movie.

Review
Frank Capra was in the beginning of a hot streak in the Depression ravaged mid-thirties. After sweeping the Academy Awards with It Happened One Night in 1934, Capra would be rewarded with a second Oscar for Best Director two years later with Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, this is as good a place to start.

Ratings Criterion4 Stars - Historically important film, considered a classic.

Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

9. GHOSTS
A-haunting we will go. A plus-sized ghost decides she'll take Lois' body.... and Lois' husband, too.

My Thoughts:
This is a fun episode. It guest stars Drew Carey and Kathy Kinney (Mimi) from The Drew Carey Show. It is definitely a light-hearted episode.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

10. STOP THE PRESSES
Perry's promoted, and the new editor of the DAILY PLANET is... Lois! Think Clark will get along with his new boss?

My Thoughts:
This is a pretty good episode. I enjoyed it... though not as much as the previous one. It was interesting seeing Clark deal with his wife being his boss.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

11. TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE MXYMAS
Christmas again? Where did the time go? MR. MXYZPTLK, on imp from the fifth dimenssion, makes every day Santa's day.

My Thoughts:
This is probably my favorite of the 3 Christmas episodes in the series. I thought that Howi Mandel did a very good job as Mr. Mxyzptlk. And I enjoyed the storyline... was like a Christmas version of the movie Groundhog Day.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

12. LETHAL WEAPON
Daddy's boys. Perry's ex-con son and Mr. Godget's cop son bring their own brands of evildoing to Metropolis.

My Thoughts:
This is a good episode... in it we once again see Red Kryptonite. We also meet one of Perry's sons in this one. Even though this is a good episode... it is also a pretty standard one.
