Two Weeks Notice, a review by addicted2dvdTitle: Two Weeks Notice: Widescreen Edition Year: 2002 Director: Marc Lawrence Rating: PG-13 Length: 101 Min. Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Commentary: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo Subtitles: English, French, Spanish Stars: Sandra Bullock Hugh Grant Alicia Witt Dana Ivey Robert Klein Heather Burns Plot:Extras: Scene Access Audio Commentary Feature Trailers Deleted Scenes Featurettes Production Notes DVD-ROM Content Closed Captioned My Thoughts: This is one I enjoyed quite a bit... but then I did always enjoy Sandra Bullock movies. Matter of fact... if it wasn't for being a Sandra Bullock movie I would have never given this one a chance as I never liked Hugh Grant movies. There is just something about him that has always bugged me. Out of almost 2,000 DVD releases this is the only movie I have with him in it. And while that is still true for this one.... he doesn't bother me as much as usual here. I thought he did a fine job and the character while kinda stupid was likable. Of course Sandra Bullock was great as usual. And the story is fun. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 Screen Caps: (From Weekend Movie Marathon: Just for Laughs on July 17th, 2010) Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, a review by Tom

My Thoughts: I am surprised, but I enjoyed this movie more than expected. I even enjoyed it more than the first movie. I never really liked Jason Lee as David (I like him, but I think he is miscast in the role), so I had no problem with it, that he had a smaller part here. Instead we get Zachary Levi ("Chuck") opposite of the Chipmunks and I think it worked out great.Rating: (From Tom's Random Reviews on August 13th, 2011) Smallville Marathon, a review by addicted2dvdSeason 1: Disc 6: 21. TEMPEST A reporter closes in on Clark's secret: Chloe may depart Smallville: LuthorCorp is forced to close. At least the school dance will provide carefree moments for Clark and his friends. Then the twister hits. My Thoughts: What a great way to end the first season! The twister scene was amazing! And of course it has plenty of cliffhangers leaving you wanting to see what will happen next! Over-All Season 1 Thoughts: I tell you... I forgot just how much the first season was Freak of the Week episodes. I also forgot how fun this first season actually was... It is no wonder that Smallville became such a big of a hit as it did. It started off much stronger then I remembered and in my opinion is still going strong after 6 season! Now to get off here and start season 2! (From Smallville Marathon on August 1st, 2007) |
