The Bourne Supremacy, a review by DJ DoenaMatt Damon ... Jason Bourne Franka Potente ... Marie Brian Cox ... Ward Abbott Julia Stiles ... Nicky Karl Urban ... Kirill Gabriel Mann ... Danny Zorn Joan Allen ... Pamela Landy Marton Csokas ... Jarda Synopsis: For two years Jason and Marie have been hiding. But they have become sloppy and a Russian killer finds them in India and kills Marie when he tried to kill Bourne. Bourne was supposed to be the fall guy for a murder and cover-up in Berlin. Now they've made him angry and he wants revenge. And CIA Deputy Director Landy wants him caught or dead because she believes him to be the murderer of her agents. My Opinion: (From DJ Doena's movie watchings 2009 on September 28th, 2009) Mulholland Drive, a review by dfmorgan
Year: 2001 Director: David Lynch Cast: Naomi Watts. Laura Elena Harring Overview: In MULHOLLAND DRIVE, David Lynch takes the viewer on a memorable neo-noir trip through Hollywood's dark underbelly in a mystery that blurs the lines between fantasy and reality and features astonishing performances from Naomi Watts and Laura Harring. Lynch dispenses with a conventional narrative in favour of a hallucinogenic assault on the senses that will stay with you long after the credits roll. Watched: 24th Jun 2011 My Thoughts: After seeing Jon's review I decided to re-watch this film. I did spin it up when I got this Blu-ray edition but found that I wasn't in the mood for the film at that time. This time though I did settle down and watched. I originally saw this film on release in 2001/2 and was stunned and befuddled by it and have watched it since on DVD. However I'm still no clearer even with "David Lynch's 10 clues to unlocking this thriller" included in the booklet. There is an introduction by Thierry Jousse who states that the first hour and fifty minutes were the original pilot and the remaining film is the extra added with the French money to close the project as a film rather than leave an open ended pilot. The original DVD release had no chapter stops but this edition does include them however they go to random points in the film, not the usual predetermined orderly sequence. Even with all that I still find the film wonderfully weird. My Rating: A wonderfully weird 4 (From Dave's DVD/Blu-ray Reviews on June 25th, 2011) Tom's Random Star Trek Reviews, a review by TomEnterprise Writer: Mike Sussman (Writer) Director: Roxann Dawson Cast: Scott Bakula (Jonathan Archer), John Billingsley (Dr. Phlox), Jolene Blalock (T'Pol), Dominic Keating (Malcolm Reed), Anthony Montgomery (Travis Mayweather), Linda Park (Hoshi Sato), Connor Trinneer (Charles "Trip" Tucker III), Randy Oglesby (Degra), Tucker Smallwood (Xindi-Humanoid), Rick Worthy (Xindi-Arboreal), Tess Lina (Karyn Archer), David Andrews (Lorian), Tom Schanley (Greer), Steve Truitt (Crewman #1) A nice episode, although nothing really new. The premise is a mix between Voyager's "Deadlock" and DS9's "Children of Time". A second version of the Enterprise appears, which had been thrown back in time over a hundred years and was now helmed by the descendants of the crew.
