Took me a while to get around to watching this as I wasn't really looking forward to it. I just have... had this feeling that the whole Shrek thing has been rather overdone and it will continue to fade and pale in comparison with every sequel. Doh! Wrong again! 

I won't say this is the best in the series but I gotta admit, it's still entertaining even after round 3! I love the frogs singing Live And Let Die, the diva princesses (Snow White, Cinderella & Sleeping Beauty) turned bad-ass Charlie's Angels and a gaggle of one liners from much of the supporting cast kept a smile on my face throughout.

Eddie Murphy is still on his game as Donkey although I notice his screen time is starting to diminish, like he is rotating out as one of the central characters. Pinocchio, Gingerbread Man and The Three Pigs are still a riot.

The one I dislike the most is Puss'n Boots, aka Antonio Banderas. Never found him funny and I don't think he has the voice to pull off voice over comedy.

Great music throughout too. The rebel charge set to Heart's Barracuda was stellar!

Somewhere (2010, Sofia Coppola)

 Surprise: the worst movie of 2010 I've seen is neither Inception nor Twilight: Eclipse. That honor goes to Coppola's sorta remake of her own Lost in Translation in which she replaces the charm of the original with a big fat single message that hits you over the head in the first shot of a Ferrari driving endless circles in the desert until it finally stops and the protagonist emerges. After 90 minutes ennui of the rich and clueless, guess what the last shot is?

The One Where It All Began: The Pilot Marathon, a review by DJ Doena

What's the show about?
Roy, Moss and Jen are the IT department at Reynholm Industries. Roy and Moss are the typical geeks while Jen has no clue about computers at all. But together they manage to live a rather quite life in the basement where they are only disturbed when some idiot upstairs has no idea how to work with a computer.

"Yesterday's Jam"
Jen has just been hired by Reynholm Industries to become the head of the IT department. She has no clue about computers but luckily for her neither has Reynholm. But when the actual computer guys Roy and Moss get wind of this they try to expose her.

My Opinion
The humour of this show is very British and might not appeal to everyone. It might come to mind but you can't really compare this show with The Big Bang Theory even though both are very nerdy. I hope that there will be a fourth season - or Version 4.0 as they call it.
