Plot:
This latest fabulous movie from Jamie Babbit (But I'm a Cheerleader) is a dynamic, romantic, funny and politically astute movie with a smart script, rockin' soundtrack and terrific ensemble cast that includes sexy young Melonie Diaz as the new grrrl on the block who falls in with a great gang of feisty feminists and then falls in love with leader of the pack, Nicole Vicius. Unfortunately, Nicole has a girlfriend - Melanie Mayron - and, as they say, drama ensues. With Carly Pope, Daniela Sea, Guinevere Turner, Deak Evgenikos, Jenny Shimizu and Lauren Mollica.

From the director "But I'm a Cheerleader". While that one has its charm, as its premise cannot be taken seriously, and therefore is a fun comedy to watch, this movie takes itself to seriously.
Also during most of the movie, many of the main characters are unlikeable and their actions are pure vandalism.
The movie takes up a little towards the end, when tension in the group breaks them up for awhile and also the finale is a little fun.

Plot:Casper Van Dien, Sleepy Hollow) is certain that if found, King Tut's Emerald Tablet would hold the power to control the world. This one was a two night mini-series that originally aired on the Hallmark Channel. I never got to see this when it originally aired... so was very pleased when I found out a friend was giving it to me. It is in a set of 2 mini-series along with Merlin's Apprentice. Which I also missed when it originally aired... so was twice as thrilled. Especially since I remember really enjoying Merlin. This isn't the normal disturb the tomb and you are cursed type of thing. They decided to go a completely different direction then that. While I can see how some may not like this... I enjoyed it quite a bit. I found it to be an interesting and entertaining way to spend almost 3 hours. It didn't feel that long while watching it! I tend to shy away from anything that is around 2hrs or longer... but this one was worth the time put into it. The storyline is interesting. The characters are likable. And the effects are pretty good as well. I really don't have anything here to complain about. Well, a couple extras would have been nice... but other then that... no complaints.

Plot:
Kevin Williamson (the Scream movie series, I Know What You Did Last Summer) created this engaging drama, which chronicles a group of young friends' passage from adolescence to young adulthood in the small coastal town of Capeside, Massachusetts. Based on Williamson's own experiences growing up, "Dawson's Creek" focuses on 15-year-olds Dawson (James Van Der Beek) and Joey (Katie Holmes), who have been friends since they were five and are trying to cope with the way their friendship is changing now that their hormones are raging. Add to the mix their friend Pacey (Joshua Jackson) and the new girl in town, Jen (Michelle Williams), and you can count on extra twists to the drama in their already turbulent lives.

When Dawson's Creek first started airing on TV, I ignored it. But when the first season reran I caught the episode "Detention" by chance and was hooked since. I then continued to watch the second season and had downloaded the third season when it originally aired in the US (30 MB real media video on dial-up). Though I lost interest in the fourth season. But now I have all seasons on DVD and watched it up to the fifth season. I have yet to watch the final season.
The pilot is still good. You can still see that it was something fresh for its time. Of course they have been a lot of Dawson-type shows since.
