Sudden Impact, a review by addicted2dvdSudden Impact Sensitive to outcries of police brutality, the superiors of San Francisco Detective Harry Callahan have sent him on an out-of-town assignment until things cool down. But wherever Harry goes, things just get hotter. My Thoughts: This is the first time I seen this movie. This one has Sandra Locke in it. She is someone I completely forgot about. If I remember right she was in a good handful of Eastwood movies. Though this is the only movie I have with her in it. I enjoyed this one. It is a good revenge story. definitely worth the time put in to watch it. My Rating: (From Dirty Harry Marathon on September 19th, 2009) A Fish Called Wanda, a review by addicted2dvdTitle: A Fish Called Wanda Year: 1988 Director: Charles Crichton Rating: R Length: 108 Min. Video: Widescreen 1.85:1, Pan & Scan 1.33:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: Mono, French: Dolby Digital: Mono Subtitles: English, French Stars: John Cleese Jamie Lee Curtis Kevin Kline Michael Palin Maria Aitken Tom Georgeson Plot:Extras: Scene Access Feature Trailers Closed Captioned 8-Page Booklet My Thoughts: This is one I never seen before. Going into this one I was a little worried my expectations would be too high as I have always heard this is such a good movie. But thankfully I kept my expectations under control. I ended up enjoying this one quite a bit. It has some good laughs in it... and the entire cast did a great job. I especially enjoyed Jamie Lee Curtis and Michael Palin. This is one I would recommend anytime you are in the mood for just fun movie. And I want to thank all of you that recommended me to watch this one. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From The Movies From Within My Lifetime on April 3rd, 2011) Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: The Complete Second Season marathon, a review by Achim9. ComplicationsMy comments: After the fast paced episode 8 is=t was quite reasonable to have things pulled back a bit for episode 9, getting some more character and story development done. There is basically three threads running, one for Sarah (boring), one for Derek (intense) and one for Ellison (short jaw-dropping). Sarah is having some sort of recurring nightmare involving Cromartie and three dots that even has her sleepwalking. I don't really understand what they were trying to do with this and it had me mostly bored. It was nice to have Dorian Harewood as Dr. Sherman back though. Derek's story I found very exciting. The slow build up and twists and turns that bring us to the revelation at the end. Two really interesting things are achieved in this episode, one being the discussion about changing the future (click to show/hide) (click to show/hide) And then there is Ellison, who gives us a big jaw-dropping moment at the end.
