My Thoughts:
I decided to watch this one in honor of my good friend Roger who recently passed away. He was a huge fan of westerns... especially of John Wayne. Unfortunately all my John Wayne films are still in storage so made do with this one.

I remember when I first heard about this film coming out I was surprised that Johnny Depp took the role of Tonto instead of the Lone Ranger himself. After watching this film I see why. The movie is different then I was expecting... but I still enjoyed every moment of it. I thought everyone that was involved did a good job... and the storyline, while on the long side, easily kept my interest. The film has some good Western action and adventure... but also comes through with a few laughs. Recommended.

Léon, a review by Rich

Great storyline with intriguing characters, Oldman, Reno and a young Portman all give top notch performances.
The mix between touching human relationship and action of a ruthless hitman is superbly directed and sympathetically portrayed, a masterclass by Besson in developing characterisations within a movie.
Touching, violent, moving and beautifully shot, this is an unforgettable voyage and experience, and a must for every dvd collection.

The X-Files Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

The X-Files: Season 1

3. Squeeze
Original Air Date: September 24, 1993
Eugene Tooms, who can 'squeeze' his body through any space and comes out of hibernation every thirty years to kill people for their liver is on the loose and Mulder and Scully must find him before he kills again.

Guest Stars:
Doug Hutchison as Eugene Victor Tooms
Donal Logue as Tom Colton
Henry Beckman as Det. Frank Briggs
Kevin McNulty as Fuller
Terence Kelly as Usher

My Thoughts:
Here we go... the first Freak-of-the-Week episode. And one I always liked very much! This one kept my interest from beginning to end. It has a good story. I think Doug Hutchison did a wonderful job as Tooms... he had that certain look about him that made you believe he was some sort of psychotic killer. And I also loved how they did the effects of him stretching and fitting into such small places. We will see this character again later in the season.
