Cube, a review by addicted2dvd

Title: Cube: Signature Series
Movie Count: 10
TV Ep Count: 1
Time Started: 10:30am
Plot:
Six ordinary strangers awaken to find themselves in a seemingly endless maze of interlocking cubical chambers armed with lethal booby traps. Without food or water, they have only a few days to live. None of them knows how or why they've been imprisoned, but soon discover that each possesses a skill that could contribute to their escape. As they work together to extricate themselves from their claustrophobic cell, one thing becomes painfully clear -- unless they learn to cooperate to solve the secrets of this deadly trap, none of them has very long to live.

My Thoughts:
This is a movie I originally saw on the Sci-Fi Channel a long time ago. It quickly became one of my favorites.  When I found it on DVD I was quick to order it. This was before the Signature Series came out... and for some strange reason... this one... I was never able to part with the original release. This movie definitely has it's share of gore in it... but it has much more then that... shows what people are capable of in the name of survival. And you better believe... some of it is not pretty.

House of Bones, a review by addicted2dvd

Title: House of Bones
Year: 2010
Director: Jeffery Scott Lando
Rating: NR
Length: 90 Min.
Video: Widescreen
Audio: English
Subtitles: N/A

Stars:
Charisma Carpenter
Corin Nemic
Rick Robinson, Jr.

Plot:
Members of a reality TV show investigate a supposedly haunted house that may prove to be the death of them.

My Thoughts:
This is the first SyFy Original Movie I get to see of 2010 (the first made?).  Charisima Carpenter stars in this movie was the main reason I wanted to see this one. I went into this one not expecting much at all as the SyFy movies tend to be a bit on the cheesy side. The movie is better then I was expecting it to be. Sure some of the effects were cheesy... there was some predictable stuff in it. But I definitely enjoyed it. Charisma Carpenter plays a psychic that joins one of those shows where they go off investigating supposedly haunted houses called Sinister Sites. On her very first episode they end up in the "real thing". Even though this movie is pretty predictable... I still enjoyed this one. And I hope to add this movie to my DVD collection if/when it is ever released.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5
