Plot:
What would you do if you could "leap" backward through time? When tomboyish 17 year old Makoto Konno gains this ability after an accident in her high school chemistry lab, she immediately sets about improving her grades and preventing personal mishaps. Before long, however, she realizes that even innocuous changes can have terrible consequences. Changing the past is not as simple as it seems, and eventually Makoto will have to rely on her new powers to shape the future for herself and her friends.

Featuring brilliant character design by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (Neon Genesis Evangelion) and stunning visuals by long time Studio Ghibli Art Director, Nizo Yamamoto. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is a feast for the eyes as well as the heart.

Extras:
  • Scene Access

My Thoughts:
One of my favourite movies. This is a Blu-ray double-dip. It came in a double-feature set with "Summer Wars". I have seen this movie eight times now. Once in the cinema, six times on DVD and now on Blu-ray.

Billy the Kid versus Dracula, a review by Antares

Billy the Kid versus Dracula (1966) 28/100 - OK, so first, a little backstory. For the last ten days I've been dealing with a severely pinched nerve in my upper back, which doesn't really let me sleep at night. TCM is showcasing horror films on Thursday nights all this month, and given the choice between Infomercials, Moonshiners, Botox bitches or bad B-movie horror schlock, I'll take the schlock. It's amazing that they wasted what little money they spent on this 'film', because the acting was horrid, even John Carradine, who played Dracula as if he had his hand out waiting for the miniscule paycheck he would receive for being the lone 'star' of this movie. I'm definitely being overly generous with my rating, but it passed the time I was unable to sleep, so it gets a few points for that.

What the color coding means...

Teal = Masterpiece
Dark Green = Classic or someday will be
Lime Green = A good, entertaining film
Orange = Average
Red = Cinemuck
Brown = The color of crap, which this film is

Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

15. I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU...
Lois and Clark get married! Just a minute, Clark. Are you sure your beautiful bride really is Lois?

My Thoughts:
This is the start of the clones/frogs storyline. Which is one of the storylines I never cared for too much. I know they were just trying to throw more problems in front of Lois and Clark's wedding... but I just found this storyline silly. Though I did like Brad Garret as Lois and Clark's wannabe comedian priest.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

16. DOUBLE JEOPARDY
Send in the clones. While LEX LUTHOR woos the real Lois, Clark spends his wedding night with her clone.

My Thoughts:
Part 2 of the above episode. And added to the clone storyline we get the amnesia storyline. Which I also never cared much for. All these never ending problems is the reason this season is my least favorite of the series.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5
