I'm not able to jump from series to film to series and keep an interest like Pete always does.

Me neither. I just can't keep interest in a series if I keep jumping from one to the next. If I decide to watch a series, I'll watch it all in one shot (well, on a per-season basis - I wouldn't watch a full run of a series in one go, I would lose interest somewhere along the way)

That's why I will not participate in the X-files marathon, since I will have to watch the entire serie runs. I've lost the interest at the season 6 again (I really don't like this one at all, the second time was not better), but I know that the seventh one that I watch now is better (in fact the best one since the season 3). It's long and not always fun to rewatch a long serie, but if I want to finally watch the last season I don't really have a choice.
