OK... Danae Cassandra is taking a page out of Brittany's book. She decided to wrap and set out my Christmas Gift for me to stare at for the next month and a half. The only clues I have is...

1. It is a Blu-ray Boxset
2. The boxset itself is wrapped... not in a bigger box

and if you want to include it... though this seems obvious...

3. It is something she thinks I will enjoy.

That is all I know. Other then that she seems to be up for at least letting the guesses fly as she mentioned posting a pic showing size and shape so people could make guesses (not that she would tell us if we get it right...though if you are right you may get a PM from her as long as you don't tell me. :P)

Anyway... here is the gift... with a single blu-ray movie next to it to give idea of size.

If you feel up to it have fun with guessing game... sure... why not more torture for me. I mean after all keeping it in sight for the next month and a half isn't torture enough is it? [/sarcasm]

Hints are a bit vague, so I suppose we have to get there by reverse approximation:

Means: I'm sure that it is not:

Dragonfire

So probably not a nice Rocky Horror set either then.  ;)  Sorry...couldn't resist.

Hmmm.  Buffy or Angel sets perhaps?  Umm...Some horror movie set....Nightmare on Elm Street ...Saw....something like that perhaps.

What can I say, he's so much fun to torture!

The picture doesn't give a good idea of depth, but it's as deep as the X-Men blu beside it.
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

Roughly six weeks of torture? I like how quickly Danae got into the spirit!

Today I picked up the package (hey... can't leave it out and expect me not to pick it up! LOL)... I felt the keep cases inside slip cover on one side... found out there was 9 (NINE!?) keep cases! Granted that one of them could be an extras disc. And who knows how many discs per keep case... but that should give us a clue to do some guesses on! :P

"Us"? You don't expect serious suggestion from anyone here...? Potentially running the surprise along the way? You're on your own :P

:stars:
9 Keep-Cases in a package as thick as a normal HD-Keep Case??
Even if they were Ultra-Slim that would not fit ... Possibly you'd need to re-calibrate your finger-sensors. (  :tease: )

addicted2dvd

As the picture shows... it is not the same thickness as a single HD-Keep Case... same size in every other dimension... but as you see from the picture there is room for lots of keep cases in it.

And for the record... I do not want to know what it is early. I apparently didn't make it clear in the first post when I said feel free to guess and maybe if you are right Danae Cassandra will PM to let you know as long as you don't tell me.

Ah,
probably misunderstood Danae then.
So what she meant is: The present is as deep as a normal HD Keep Case is wide?

Dragonfire

Were you given permission to pick it up and feel it like that?  Tsk tsk.  ;)

Hmmmmmmm.
A complete set of a tv show that has 9 seasons?
Hmmm.....
Still thinking some sort of horror movie collection thing...Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street..Halloween...saw.  Not sure how many there are of all those.

Ya, exactly.  Sorry for the misunderstanding!
