Dragonfire

I've seen the Christina Ricci Lizzie Borden movie in a store a few times.  I never even picked it up to read the back.

I just today received The Legend of Lizzie Borden with Elizabeth Montgomery. Hopefully it's better than Christina Ricci's version. In fact, I'm almost certain it is.

And Let The Film Begin!

My Thoughts:
I don't know that I'm the right person to write a review for this film.  Because I unabashedly love it.  Sure, I know it regularly gets listed as a "so-bad-it's-good" film, but I've never seen how this is a bad movie.  I love Tim Curry as Frank, and not just because he looks super hot in drag.  It's completely over-the-top on every level, and it works, absolutely works, for this film.  This is a ridiculous amount of fun - especially if you can get to a midnight showing - but the film works for me on its own, just watching it at home.  A personal favorite.

Bechdel Test: Fail

Overall: 4/5
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

After all the years I've known you, your dislike of music still amazes me. There is, of course, music I dislike, but then there is other music I just love and it puts a smile on my face. Then again, I generally am not a big fan of musicals, but if things work out I love the occasional oddball, like Litte Shop of Horror, Rocky Horror Picture Show and maybe Hair, among a few others.

What would it feel like, if my brain would reject just ANY music :hmmmm:
