She is thrilled with the short haircut. And everyone seems to like it on her a lot.

You know I was a little worried how well she would fit in here at Hollins. Mainly because she never really fit in all that well in our small town we live in. What with her semi-goth style... and her interests in anime as well as the dark and macabre. But not only has everyone we have met so far (other students and faculty alike) not only accept her as she is... but seems genuinely interested in her likes and style. She and her roommate was even invited to join an anima club here on campus.

That sounds great! I can believe that being "different" can be an issue in a small American town... So it's cool that she can fit right in now.

This evening we will be having our movie night. I don't know which film(s) we will end up watching or how many. But I am to meet them at the Moody building (their cafeteria) at 4:30 to walk them over to the suite I am at. Britt forgets the way and Rhiana never been here.

I planned a nice dinner for them. I got a small pan of lasagna to bake for them... as well as some garlic bread with cheese.

Then for desert / movie night snacks... I got...

- Cupcakes
- Ice Cream
- popcorn

The campus does look nice..and it looks huge from that map. It is good that she is being accepted there. Does she like her dorm room?
