I rather have them use two discs and less compression than sacrifice quality too much.

Just did a little calculating
Resolution: 1080p
FrameRate: 24
FilmLength: 235 min

Results in ~ 70 Gig of uncompressed data (without sound!)
So it's obviously necessary to have a split somewhere.

Kathy

I don't mind - gives me a chance to go to the bathroom!

You mean you get up and walk to the tv??  Are you stuck in prehistoric times?  ;)  :hysterical:
Sorry....couldn't resist.   :hysterical:

Jimmy

I'm sure Kathy has one of those for her TV :P

We had one and that was so practical, of course we had only four channels to choose in that time... Even our first VHS player remote was attached to the player by a chord

You do know that you can use the TV without a remote don't you? You can even change the channels or adjust the volume! And I don't even need batteries!  :tease:

Yeah yeah..but then I'd have to get up after I'm comfy and settled...sometimes that would mean disturbing one of the cats.  Being the caretaker of kitties, you should know, disturbing a cat is frowned upon.
